The room was great, the staff was friendly and very helpful, specially given that my spanish is not so good. The breakfast was great too, definitely a great stay.
The view out of my room led to a construction of a building on the side, but at least it allowed some natural light in.

Staff was welcoming and attentive and always greeted me upon any leaving or returning to the hotel.
As others have stated, the location is outstanding, and I felt very safe as an older, female, solo traveler.
Breakfast was in a spacious area on floor #1, and it was full of healthy items in which to choose. The area was well staffed, and they replaced items in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to start each day in such a positive way with so many pleasant staff members.
I wasn't sure that my USB cord from the US was appropriate for charging my electronics, and after discussing my concern with a front desk staff member, she loaned me a USB plug that was compatible.
The only major negative was my misinterpreting the rooftop lounge area photos. It is a small area surrounded by tall walls; it has only lounge chairs, no bar or bar service. You must carry whatever you order from the adjacent Restaurant Castizo up to the rooftop. (Remember to say you are staying at Regina Hotel for 10% discount.) There are not any pleasing or photographic views of the beautiful buildings with statues in this area.
A minor negative was the mini fridge being full of pre-selected beverages the hotel wanted to sell.

This was my second visit at the hotel.
This time too I had an outstanding experience from start to end. The service was warm, attentive, and very professional. The cleanliness impeccable, and every detail was carefully considered. I truly felt pampered throughout my stay. Highly recommended.

We had the penthouse terrace room which was fabulous, and very accommodating for late check out with a small charge but meant we could enjoy the room and terrace for the whole last day to match with flights. Staff were amazing and room and cleaniness was first class , best city hotel I have ever experienced and I’ve travelled all over the world, thank you x

Its location and the decor.
The roof top patio as wonderful as it was, could do with some umbrellas to provide shade.
The elevator to the other wing was very noisy. Didn’t feel safe even though staff reassured it was.

Location. Stylish. Clean. Modern. Breakfast great. Staff really helpful and efficient.
Cleaner’s room beside Room 601 meant quite a lot of noise in the morning when still in bed. Not the best location next to the most expensive rooms!
