All three of us ordered the chicken burger in the restaurant and it was just awful. Highly processed, thin, oval and gray inside. It did not look or taste like a chicken burger and I had to ask the waitress if it truly was chicken. She explained that they order ready- made, frozen patties. That's fine, we did not expect a freshly grilled chicken breast (would have been nice, though) but this one, in my opinion, was of the lowest, possible quality. Furthermore, for a 4 star hotel and at 150€ a night, you expect amenities in your bathroom, at the least. Maybe some slippers. There was not a single amenity in the bathroom. There was a sign saying you could call Reception for amenities but you would really expect having a few basic ones at your disposal, such as sanitary bags (the box on the wall near the toilet meant to hold them was empty). A few cotton balls, cotton buds would have been nice. There was no kettle, no coffee/tea, not even a few bottles of free water. I have never stayed at a 4 star hotel that did not have this available. Furthermore, the attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired. As mentioned above, the shuttle driver that picked us up was polite and friendly, as was the waitress in the restaurant. However, both males in reception at check-in and check-out didn't even offer a hint of a smile. There was no "welcome" at check in or "how was your stay" or similar at check out. The hospitality business is one of service, and staff need to be trained accordingly- to be polite and welcoming. This is the minimum. Instead, they looked quite miserable. There was a lady in reception who was fine when we asked for directions to a supermarket close by. Finally, our room was very warm. Apparently the temperature is centrally controlled. It was a very warm day and the fan button available did not do much to help. Each room should really have its own AC/heating panel for it to be comfortable for all guests.

Bar area not welcoming, pool not open, no gym/fitness area

Thought it was perhaps a little overpriced.

Neighborhood was industrial and didn’t feel safe to walk outside. Hotel was hot.
