Location was super convenient. Hotel was clean, beds very comfortable. Rooftop lounge and pool was a great spot to take a break from the heat, relax, and enjoy the view. Food and drinks were very good but a little overpriced.

Great location, metro station 10 seconds from the front door and loads of bus stops and other metro stations within 5mins walk to get you anywhere within the city.
The Sunday that we stayed was the night Spain won the world cup so the streets were crazy outside. We were worried we wouldn't be able to sleep, but amazingly the hotel was whisper quiet inside. No noise at all from the room! Breakfast selection was impressive. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Rooftop bar and pool area is great to hang out if you need a break from the Spanish heat. There's plenty of sunbeds and lots of shade up there and the drinks were good.
Prices of the drinks was a little steep, could have been €2 or €3 cheaper per cocktail, but it's to be expected in a 4 star hotel, can't really complain.
Other than that, had a lovely time!

The facilities exceeded my expectations with a large room and a well appointed ensuite. The bedding was of high quality and provided a backdrop for a perfect sleep after long distance travelling. The staff were very responsive to any requests or providing information. There is also a lovely waiting area in the foyer. The hotel was very close to all facilities - shopping, restaurants, cafes, metro and easy to get to from the airport and main train station. It also had a pool which looked very enticing.

The location is extremely convenient and the pool is excellent - so many beds so it was never an issue finding one and a good vibe up on the roof too. The rooms are spacious and the shower was great. Staff on front desk very helpful.
We were woken up on 2/4 nights by other guests coming in late from parties and slamming doors etc… while I’m not blaming the hotel for this, if you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. Noise carries a long way! Service on the roof was a bit hit and miss too.

Heart of Madrid. Walking distance to all top tourist destinations. Excellent rooftop bar and good pool. Hotel staff is great.
Not a five star hotel, despite the five star pricing. Old rooms. Had to change the rooms due to a sewer scent in 4 out of 6 rooms we reserved. Hotel changed without a problem.

Wonderful
Amazing location, beautiful pool, very nice room and a spacious bathroom, plenty of sun loungers (we were there during the weekdays). The staff were friendly.
My only issue was with lobby security. Arms crossed, standing up, staring me down in the eyes every time I entered the front doors. I would say hola and pass by when with my husband and child but 3 times I was alone or with my daughter, I was chased to the elevator and demanded to answer if I was a guest. They would approach from the rear and just start talking loudly at me in Spanish. I’m a middle aged woman and I don’t believe I look like any sort of threat.
I mentioned to the staff and they were apologetic but I think they need to dial this back. Many years of traveling and this is the first time that this has happened to me.

The room was perfect, bigger and better appointed than I expected. The location was also excellent for easy walking to many places of interest, shopping and eating. The rooftop pool was amazing and again, even better than expected !

Breakfast was good.
They could introduce water with oranges in for their guest coming back from shopping in the lobby. Experienced in another hotel last year which was a great due to the heat. It would generate more business at the bar. They should also give some crisps on the side when bringing down drinks including water. It would generate more sales for them. Little touches goes along way.

The location was easy to navigate.
I could hear people using the toilet from my room. There was a window that faced a wall. The weight room could have used more of a variety of weights. It was always very noisy in the hallways.

The building is a grand lady on Gran Via. You are welcomed into a 5 star lobby. The room had a long wide foyer that opened into a beautifully appointed room with soaring ceilings. The rooftop pool is large and is surrounded by ample deck space that eliminates the need to strategise to get lounge chairs. Juan at deception was welcoming and he checked is in and out efficiently. All of the staff was great.

The location
The hotel security was excessive and hostile towards the guests. Police were called to the rooftop pool, which overlooked everyone and made us feel uncomfortable.
