Lovely one night stay at this hostel. The host and staff were genuinely kind and friendly. AC and Wifi worked perfectly. The room was very clean. EXCELLENT location - just 1 minute walk from Gran Via station. Bed was comfortable.
I enjoyed my stay.

This is a small hotel, centrally located in Gran Via with an amazingly friendly and service oriented staff, room was small but comfortable.

Very central apartment on Gran Via, in a beautiful, well-kept and majestic old residential building. Concierge to let people in during the night. The hotel is located on the 6th floor and we got a room in the back, meaning no problem at all with the noises from the street. The room we got was recently renovated and very clean. The hotel staff were very kind and we managed to understand each other, despite their low level of English and my non-existent Spanish.
The room was rather small, no space for storing clothes and such, but we managed :)

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They keep the rooms spotless. It was cold and rainy during our stay and our heating was great. The rooms are simply furnished but provide basic needs and adequate storage. We could walk everywhere from the perfect location. This is a friendly, comfortable, clean, no frills place to sleep in central Madrid.

We liked the staff (lovely and helpful people), and the cleanliness. Very silent room in a very central location. Frugal but very confortable. Free bus to Atocha station at a couple of minutes walk.

The room was basic and small, but very clean and silent, comfortable bed, friendly personnel, great location close to metro and several bus lines.
You can hear noise from the corridor, but it was silent during the night. There was weird smell at the corridor and the room.
