What a find! Easy walking distance to the art museums, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, flamenco, restaurants and most everything. Close to the metro. Our room faced the courtyard and even on New Years Eve with 10s of thousands of people outside, we heard nothing. Appreciated having a coffee vending machine in the mornings before the nocturnal city awakens.

Very spacious room and comfortable for our family of four. Nice lobby. People at front desk were nice and helpful. Location is great. No frills but that was to be expected but this place was better than expected will definitely recommend and return

I especially liked the staff working there. They were very helpful to me and my family.
When we first arrived, I didn’t know how to get in. I missed the etching in the window that said second floor. Signage should be more prevalent.

There was no breakfast.
It was fairly close to the big square.
I wish the price was lower.

Location is perfect for visiting the main attractions of Madrid. There is a lounge off the reception which we enjoyed. There are bedside sockets and one in the bathroom. The room was quiet.
Another bedside table and chair would be appreciated. The shower head flipped upward with full pressure but I think that will get fixed. Also the elevator has been out of order for some time so be prepared to climb 2 flights of stairs.
I didn’t like the scented laundry detergent used on the sheets.

Excellent location just 2 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol
Very clean, renovated bathrooms and rooms in an otherwise old building
Wifi signal is weak in the rooms, this needs to be fixed as it's a MUST these days
Lack of restaurant/breakfast on site but plenty of options at close distance
Traffic lights audio signal for pedestrians could be heard from the rooms, also at night... not the hotel's fault though

Very clean. Although it was central it was very quiet in the room (I faced the main street). The windows are double insulated so you can barely hear the streets. The balconies are also beautiful on a summer evening. It is in a lovely old building on the second floor. They have luggage storage for before check in and after check out.
The Wi-Fi was quite spoty in my room, so it was difficult to have a strong connection at times.

Location is great. Just a few blocks away from La Puerta del Sol plaza. The facilities were better than I expected and the room was more comfortable than expected as well. It even has a nice balcony. The personnel was really nice. I will book it again un new next visit.
The building is old, as most properties in the area. It’s probably been renovated more than once and is ok. Good price-value ratio in my opinion.

Very close to center of Madrid yet inexpensive. Modernized rooms. AC works. Clean.
Two story walkup, rough looking exterior, and stairs. Draws a lot of 20 something guests who ignore noise policy - all night!
