It is a date falling apart property that is more like a student accomodation on outskirts of Madrid charging a ridiculous price for what it is, than a 4 star hotel. In the first room we were given there was no kettle, because of “covid hygiene measures”. Instead of that we were asked to get out of the room and use communal cooler at the end of the floor. I am apart what nonsense hotel staff comes up witt to brush of guests requests. And that is a 4 star hotel charging 400$ per night for a standard room with out breakfast! Anyhow 5 minutes later they “found” a kettle and brought it to the room. Shower caulking was all rotten and black, as it was not cleaned for the past 30 years. In the morning our sink was leaking. They called a handy man pretty quickly, and told they would fix the sink when we are out. Then during the day they messaged us and said they could not fix the sink and we have to come back before 3 so they would give us a new room. We rushed back and missed out on one of the museums we wanted to go. When we came back they redid the bathroom caulking on one side. So they do have handyman to maintain rooms in good condition, they just don’t bother doing that. The other room we got was on the higher floor and looked ok at first. And funnily enough there was coffee capsule machine, apparently no “covid hygiene” issues on higher floors. We went out and shut down the aircon. When we came back in a few hours the room smelled like body odor. The shower did not drain properly. I told the staff about the body order smell in the room and when we came back after the room was cleaned, there was no smell. But the smell came back a couple hours later. The roof top pool is not a tall a pool but a 2x2m bath tab with about 6 people sitting there. To access the roof top bar you need to exit on the the elevator on last floor and climb external unholy fire safety staircase. The bar itself is a narrow crappy place open to outdoors public, crowding the elevator.

Rooftop bar and restaurant was constantly full with patrons off the street. Those staying at the hotel had little opportunity to access theses areas

Be more specific on the swimming pool, not enough place to sit or relax, definitely not swim (it's more a refreshing pool) Room - availability of a coat rack at the income (would be very convenient) Airco - when working, is constantly blowing down, should be adjusted or adjustable
