Location was perfect - centrally located and close to all the sites and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and we got a room that was quiet even though it's located on the main street. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was clean, new, well maintained. Good choice of hotel in Madrid.

Our stay in Catalonia was excellent. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and of a high standard. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made the overall experience even better. Location also a big win.

Nice stay overall and it’s in a great area with plenty around. We landed very early and, although check-in wasn’t until 3pm, they were accommodating and let us relax in the lobby for a bit and store our bags while we went out to explore and grab food. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well kept. Would stay again.
The name is a bit misleading as it’s still a decent walk to Plaza Mayor
