I stayed for several nights at this hotel. The front desk is very helpful. They always greet you with a smile. They helped me call The Ritz to postpone my afternoon tea reservations because I couldn’t get through to them on my phone. Room was clean. Area is amazing!
The bathroom has no ventilation. My room was small so bathroom activities could be embarrassing. Breakfast was so expensive. My husband was sick during our stay so we couldn’t go out much. It would have been so nice to have just coffee and toast without paying 24 Euro each.

I liked the location. It was within walking distance of many sites and the immediate area was very cool. The room was a good size. I loved how the bedroom had a foyer with a door separating it from the hotel hallway which made it quiet. Coffee and water provided. For free. Towels were nice. Decent water pressure . Good tv.
My room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned when I checked in. The pillows weren’t comfortable. Shower was in a bathtub which was slippery. Would have been nice to have had a bathrobe

Absolutely everything!! This was my first trip to Spain and as soon as I arrived to my hotel, I knew this would be a great trip! The hotel is beautiful, walls are think, the room was exceptionally clean, the staff was amazing and the location was the absolute best you can hope for! We walked the whole city and all the main sites and there is no other hotel that’s beats this one! Our greatest trip yet!!
There is nothing not to like. I hit the jackpot with this place!

We didn't do breakfast. We loved the location because we could walk to the main sites we wanted to see, i.e., El Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen-Bornemizsa, the botanical garden. On a quiet street that invited walking throughout the old neighborhood. Loved that the hotel is located by two restaurants we enjoyed, so no complicated searching for dinner. Everything about the room was comfortable. Spacious, good lighting (so many hotels have given up on reading lights) and water and coffee in the room. (We're Americans who wake up to big mugs of coffee, which meant that I had to ask for 3 time more coffee capsules than the usual 2 the housekeeper left for each of us.) Luxurious without being fussy or stuffy. Would definitely stay there again!

Having three beds was great. Loved the large bathroom. Nightly turndown service -with chocolates-was a nice touch. Enjoyed having robes for all three of us.The lobby area was also very nice with places to sit and read, or have a drink from the bar.
I wish the small refrigerator hadn't been absolutely filled with hotel drinks. We needed space to put our water and kombucha.
There is a nice long wall where you could put some hooks for coats and scarves. It's winter and we were going in and out of the room all of the time and would've liked some hooks!

The smell in the rooms was very bad. It was really hard to stay in the room with the smell.
