The hotel is gorgeous, and located in the wonderful neighborhood of Salmanca. The rooms are comfortable, pretty, and well-designed. The breakfasts are excellent--fresh orange juice, superb eggs, good choice of yogurts to go with fruits and nuts. One problem: the coffee is pretty bad.
Woeful technology. My television didn't work. I needed it for a Netflix documentary, but repeated visits by a technician got me nowhere (something about rebooting Chromecast). I watched the documentary on my laptop but I would have preferred a larger screen which, after all, I had paid for. The wi-fi is strong enough when it works but it constantly kicked me out--and I mean constantly. And getting back in was a pain, requiring multiple clicks.

Excellent location, breakfast very good, the staff was very kind, comfortable beds. Good size room and bathroom.
The only thing could be much better are the quality of the towels, very poor quality

Fantastic stay at Catalonia Goya. Brilliant location. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Outstanding breakfast. A lovely albeit small pool to cool off in which came very much in handy due to the very hot weather! Overall a great stay.
