Perfect location, good value and spacious rooms. The breakfast treat was a great treat!
When checking in, noticed my room smelled like smoke and spent time dealing with staff trying to get a new room. The new room had a musky smell too, so believe the rooms need to have better air ventilation or taken care of.

Easy check in, dog friendly - we were given a gift bag for our dog. There is no restaurant on site but they had a room on the lower floor with a coffee machine and cookies open 24 hours. Comfy bed.

I loved the location, very centric, with easy access to to the metro and trains. The morning snacks delivered in the morning were nice and unexpected. And I really loved the 24 hour access to inclusive good quality cofee.
The shower leaked into the toilet area, because the shower door didn’t seal properly. It flooded the whole toilet.
The desk is useless it is such a tight space between the bed and desk, that the chair does not como out enough.

The location is great. The rooms are new, spacious and clean. There is free coffee and cookies. In the morning we had croissants in our door.
The noise. Avoid staying in the last floor (5th) As there is a rooftop above. Also avoid the x02 rooms, as they are right next to the floor cleaning service rooms and there is a lot of noise from the clowning service people coming from the service room form 06:00 AM onwards.

Prime location in Sol, with a terrace that overlooked the Christmas tree in the plaza. Staff were amazing, helpful, cheery. Was able to check in hours earlier than expected. Free pastries and water hanging on my door handle every morning, and espresso downstairs.
With a room facing the main street, it could be a bit loud into the early morning. I can sleep through almost anything, but lighter sleepers may have difficulty especially on weekends.

Location is great and the staff was friendly.
When I arrived my room had the window open and the overwhelming smell of room spray. It was so bad I had to leave for hours. When I came back it was still there and asked to be moved but they could not switch rooms because the hotel was full. I then had to prop door open and window and turn on the AC. I was told by the staff it would get better. Apparently the previous guest smoked in the room. It took most of the night before it went away. Not a pleasant day.

Location was excellent to be close to center of activity around Puerta del Sol & Plaza Mayor. The breakfast bag delivered to the room and complimentary snacks bar were nice extras.
Room facing the street was NOISY with street people into the wee hours of the morning. The police station next door was also a constant source of howling sirens.

This is a terrific location. Safe, clean, and plenty of walking-distance action. Great subway access.
Expensive for a non-full-service hotel. No laundry, no restaurant and bar, minimal breakfast offering.
