Been going to Esmeralda Suites for 20 yrs, location excellent
Not been refurbished since we started visiting, looking tired, equipment not working - tv, toaster, washing machine leaking. Love it still but needs updating & deep clean

No bicycles allowed in the lift. High elevation so good views and quiet
BBC1 reception was very poor - unwatchable at times.

The location was excellent
Advertised as free WiFi in all areas,except the apartment I was staying in.I was on the 21st floor and no signal was available so I was told.

It was quite a long walk from the apartments
Air con not working, beds where awful, Punic hair in bathroom, fridge not working when we first arrived so all our shopping was ruined, the balcony door wouldn’t lock.
The shutters didn’t work so couldn’t undo windows when the aircon broke as I have small children

Clean apartments, great views from the higher floors, great swimming pool, always sunbeds available at any time of the day like having your own private pool, well cleaned and maintained pool area.
More shade/umbrellas needed around pool area

It was very clean and had a nice outlook.
The kitchen appliances had to stand on the table as there were no worktops with plugs available so the table had to be moved to be near the available plugs. Also there weren’t enough beds round the pools.

The pools were lovely and it was close to the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. The spa was lovely. The room was clean, the balcony was great, it had a table and chairs and 2 sun beds. There were toilets by the pool which meant we didn't have to keep going back to the room. The shower was powerful and there was always hot water.
There weren't enough beds around the pool, and there was damp in the corner of the bedroom. The kitchen didn't have any plug points and we had to ask for a kettle.

We have been staying here for many years. The interiors are now a bit dated. worst problem was noisy guests in adjoining apartments. never used to be like that.
