Great communal type accomodations in a super convenient location. Great kitchy vibe in the place. You are within walking distance to just about everything. Communal kitchen that is well stocked with more then just the basics. Both indoor & outdoor lounge areas. The rooms are roomy enough with good storage for your belongings. The beds were comfortable. Andrea & Katya could not have been more friendly & super informative of the area & local hot spots. Great energy in those 2!
Let me be clear, I really liked this place & I only use this "what didn't you like?" area only to make suggestions to the establishment. My suggestion....The pillows could be upgraded.

Good facilites with courtyard and well-equipped kitchen. Great host, very welcoming. Ideal location near Placa Universitat with lots of bars and restaurants.

This is excellent budget accommodation - with ensuite room and access to a kitchen. There is outdoor seating and some rooms have their own designated space outside the door. There is a well-equipped kitchen, which is very small so I think it would be quite crowded if everyone wanted to cook at the same time. I think it might be noisy in the summer, but we found that it was quiet. We are at the older end of the age-group who might use zoorooms (late 60s) but was didn't feel too p;d and I hope the younger people staying there didn't find us too old! The staff are awesome - really helpful and welcoming. There are lots of small shops nearby to buy food. There is designated space in the fridge and cupboards for each room.
The kitchen area was a bit small - but it didn't spoil the stay.

The location!
The light in the room was poor and the big door that opened directly into the terasse did not help as we could not keep the drapes open. I do appreciate an intimate light but I also want to have the option to actually see something in the room. Other than that, all great really.

Location was great, we walked everywhere on foot. There were nice restaurants and shops close to the place so we were able to buy some fresh food, make breakfast in the kitchen and eat it on the terrace. Great staff that was so nice to take into consideration that we came before the checkin hours and cleaned the room earlier so we could use it right away. We had a room with the exit to the tarrace, away from the street so it was quite. I really recommend if you prefer a place with character rather then the regular hotel.

We have a fruitful week in Barcelona, because the accommodation is in a very good location and safe area. Andrea was very friendly and very nicely, he enthusiastic to telling our about the restaurant and attractions 's information. The room is very cute and comfortable, also have private bathroom, We really recommend this place!

Disappointing
Location and staff were excellent.
The noise from the street was so loud, we had a hard time sleeping. And the walls in the hotel were thin so noise from other guests also loud.
