The location was great. The lounge and lobby were great. The guy working the night shifts was really sweet and was the best.
It was filthy. We got in late and wanted to shower and the bathroom was absolutely trashed. The floors were all wet with trash and hair everywhere. The grout on the shower tiles was covered in black mold. Many of the fixtures and shelves were broken. Shower water was either cold or scalding and had to keep adjusting back and forth to bathe.

Location was brilliant - close to the Universtat metro line but walkable to many areas and places of interest too. Cocktail bar was great, very good happy hour cocktails for 6EUR between 2-3pm and 7-9pm. Breakfast had a great selection and was reasonably priced. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a long day sightseeing!
Smell in the shower room (drains) but it was hot and humid and they were clean, just that hostel shared bathroom smell was a little off-putting.

They allow you to store your luggage for free if you arrived earlier at the property.
The shower and toilet are located outside of the room shared with multiple rooms. Cleanliness was barely ok. they charge amenities like towels but just a deposit for hairdryer.

some of the staff was so friendly, I liked the room layout, and the lobby and breakfast was nice.
some issues with the laundry, but staff was helpful and kind and eventually got it working.
