Its a lovely small boutique hotel situated in a beautiful old building. Extremely small and old lift to the hotel and a little difficult to find. The rooms are clean but very small as well as the bathroom. It lacked facilities within the room such as tea/coffee station, refrigerator and safe however they were provided in the communal area which I found strange and not pleasant to use. The large balcony was great with a great view of the basilica. The location in the gothic area was perfect. 5 minute easy walk to La Rambla with beautiful small laneways along the way. Excellent bakeries, tapas and pizza restaurants near by as well as shops for browsing and buying. I dont think I would choose this hotel again but it was nice enough.

Perfect location with access to all the key spots you want to visit in Barcelona. Lovely outlook over the piazza and very welcoming staff who were happy to provide any information we needed. Tea and coffee on tap.
We had a balcony overlooking the piazza but if you didn't have a balcony, a small lounge area would have been good. There is a section to be able to sit at for work purposes but not really a general lounge about area.

Central location, close to metro, key attractions and many restaurants and shops. Friendly staff, comes with free biscuits and coffee/tea. Room is big and clean.
The lift is quite small. The sliding door for the shower area is quite heavy and hard to open/close it
