We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended from three nights to four. Breakfast was a highlight every single day. Impressive variety of options, all delicious - a special thanks to Gemma!
The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable, Wifi was fast and reliable, and the rooms come with a large TV you can connect your own Netflix account to — a lovely touch.
Despite ongoing construction in the adjacent building, we didn’t hear a single sound from our room. During our stay we also experienced a brief power outage which caused the shared door to lock, but the front desk staff handled it calmly and efficiently, resolving everything within 5–10 minutes. Very reassuring.
One small note: the pancakes at breakfast were pre-frozen and on some mornings had run out entirely. We’d love to see them made fresh — ideally by Gemma herself! :)
Overall, we left more than satisfied. If we return to Barcelona, Hotel Arconte will absolutely be our first choice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us schedule tours to Monserratt and told us where to go for good spots to eat. They even let us bring in bottles of wine into the property and gave us glasses.

The staff is helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent—close to points of interest, cafés, and restaurants, as well as the metro. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable, and housekeeping was done daily. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of fruits, pastries, and the option to order different egg dishes à la carte.
As a downside, the room is not very well soundproofed, and noise from other rooms can be heard quite easily. However, this does not diminish the overall experience, which is very good.
