I liked the location- its pretty calm but you can easily access the city centre by foot or by metro. Modern, liked roof top.
Pretty small room for the value of money, the ac was not working - we went on October- so it was super hot at night. The breakfast has a small variety of dishes but good quality, the staff is not attentive.

Location is really good, close to Sagrada Família and very walkable in general. If you have a car it can be a little off the main road as in Paseo de Gràcia, but none the less easy to get to. One of the great and useful perks of the hotel is the bicycle included for 3 hours at no extra cost. We were able to bike down to Barceloneta and back to the hotel in that time in order to enjoy the afternoon. Rooftop another great thing about the hotel, great ambience, good cocktails and some small food.
Room was a bit cramped once you open your suitcase, no place where to put clothes and only a handful of hangers. But the room itself is nice and modern. Same issue with the bathroom, not enough counter space to set our normal stuff. Didn't bother us much overall but just have in mind that.

Loved pretty much everything about this property. The rooms were spacious and the view was incredible. The staff were helpful - often going above and beyond. They even provided a list of their too recommendations, which was extremely helpful and appreciated.
The location of the hotel was great as it was nice and quiet and close to shopping and transit. There were times when it seemed a bit far removed from the city centre, but we weren’t mad about the extra steps. Also slightly far from the airport.

Nice vibes and quite comfortable. The pool was nice, albeit very small and requires additional fees to use the sunbeds. Housekeeping team was lovely and also kindly lent us a clothes steamer. Location is in a nice neighbourhood, across a mall and near the beach. Tourists should note it is not super close (walkable) to the center of town but just a quick 10-15min taxi or cycle.
The reception team was very nice, but slowest check in process ever. It took almost 10 minutes despite two individuals helping us. It wasn’t just our group’s, as we had to go back to reception to ask a few questions during our stay and witnessed multiple parties experiencing this slow process.

We loved the location and the pool. The rooms were spacious, updated and clean with AC. The front desk workers were very friendly!
I didn’t like that you had to pay for a reservation at the pool despite being a guest. Some of the workers at the pool were slow.

Big bed & shower. Greeted with good service & free bottle of wine as it was both our birthdays
Loved the decor and overall themes the hotel had.
Rooftop was nice.
Location was walking distance to most local areas/ attractions, cheap Ubers if not. Right beside Metro stop also.
The layout of the rooftop was terrible. The space could be maximised more by moving the bar to the wall and opening up the pool area to have more beds.
Instead, there are limited beds and paying hotel guests are charged €30 min to use the beds (!!). Being told the pool is free to use is no good when there are only small stools to use, right at the pool. Staff didn’t have any answers or cares when I raised it.
Room sizes were ok and could have been better, or had more hanging space to compensate, and better lighting (as most times we had to close the curtains to get dressed due to the buildings direct opposite).
I was interested by the merch store at reception but was put off by it being so small and little selection of items.

The location is great, staff were friendly, lobby is fun, bar is too, rooftop is great, has a really awesome view of the city. Walking distance to nice breakfast spots (little Fern) and sights (sagrada Familia), as well as the beach.(Bogatel), it's also right in front of a strip mall and a tram and metro stop.
The breakfast could've been better, there isn't any closet space in the regular room, and there was a space where the blackouts couldn't cover, which let sunlight in every morning.

The guy in reception charged me extra deposit 250€ and this deposit only for the hotel and said it will be refunded in checkout. Once checked out they only refund 80€ they said its for government taxes but in booking already i paid all taxes. The stay was bad i don’t recommend anyone to stay here

Location was great, bed was comfortable.
Air conditioning never got cold enough, controlled by the hotel. No room to put clothes or store luggage.

We had a short but sweet stay at The Hoxton. The Biggy room was spacious enough to accommodate our family, the beds were super comfortable, the rooftop bar, the pool and the views are lovely, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were super friendly. At check-in, Pau did his best to accommodate us and we are very grateful. It is also a great bonus that the hotel has a private parking/garage.
We liked everything, perhaps the only thing was that at the rooftop Mexican-style restaurant, the portions are very very small. They are indeed tapas style and not enough for a proper dinner.

Great option if traveling with a kid! The rooftop pool is very quiet until 11:00 am and there is a really nice playground about a block away across the street. Our family loved starting our day with a swim and play session! The immediate surrounding area feels very safe and is kind of a creative offices modern area with an exceptional cafe (NOMAD Frutas Selectas) a short walk away. The design of the hotel is super chic and the room and bathroom are very spacious. We all slept amazing at this hotel as well - very comfy and quiet room. Would definitely stay here again!
The pool was not heated which was not an issue with the summer heat, but not sure if they heat it during cooler seasons.

The property was very trendy and the beds were super comfortable.
Not sure it is worth the money considering you get charged €30 per sunbed to use the pool and this is only for a 4 hour a lot. The property is also 30-40 minute walk away from the main areas.

The design and its proximity to the metro station was great.
The mattress is not attached to the bread frame, it simply is placed on a flat wood board and it keeps on slipping when we move around. Then, we have to get up and push it back into place. Also, there were no house slippers for us to use.

The property is located away from the center which is nice.
Unfortunately, this hotel has a rooftop bar and a downstairs bar. If you are looking for a hotel to hear people singing while drunk and making loud noises past 2am, even if weekdays, then this is your place. We came thinking being away from the center would bring us peace and ease and it is the last thing we found. I was woken up every time I would fall asleep by loud people singing in what it felt like right outside our room window, it was so loud even ear plugs wouldn’t stop it. I didn’t sleep our entire stay and decided to leave Barcelona all together early because of our experience at this hotel. The staff is very kind and friendly, but it truly felt like I was at a hostel more than a hotel. It definitely caters to people who like to party and I guess it is my fault for not reading more of the reviews before I booked. I am not the only person who has shared this complaint and they have not done anything about it. When I brought it up to their customer service, they simply said that no one else had complained that day about it. So if no one else complains about it means it isn’t happening? I will never stay in any of the hoxton’s properties ever again. If you are willing to do a bit of research, spend your well earned money somewhere else, for the price they charge you can be beachfront and actually get a good night sleep somewhere else. I am truly disappointed and simply wanted to save some of you the headache I went through.
