Hotel was in a nice location. If we were younger, not too far of a walk to Placa Catalona where major transportation hub is. For seniors, it was a bit far, although using taxis was very helpful to get to anywhere we wanted to go. A nice touch is they had water and treats in the lobby for guests. The breakfast area was very nice and well attended although we often ate out. We would stay there again.

The staff was amazing, from the reception (Felix) to the housekeeping and restaurant. It was super clean. The location is great. We didn't have to use public transport at all.
It was a bit cold during our stay, including the lobby and the room. We didn't receive coffee capsules in the room daily so we had to go out for coffee or ask someone at the reception to provide us.

We had a brief stay here, but all in all, the hotel was a great option! Location-wise, it was THE BEST option for us, and it's super close to a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Also, a quick 15-minute walk to Plaza Catalunya, which by the way, was a very amazing walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again :)
The toilet was super close to the wall, so it was a little cramped to sit straight, lol. I'm not sure what happened there or if this was only in my room, but honestly, nothing to worry about!

The location were good
We recently stayed at Petit Palace Trencadís in Barcelona. The location is definitely good and convenient, but the hotel itself is far from a true 4-star level — at best, it feels like a 3-star property.
The rooms are small, quite dark, and don’t match the pictures or expectations for this category.
Among the staff, two male employees were polite and helpful, but unfortunately, a lady named Silvia was extremely rude. She never smiled, responded with an unpleasant attitude, and made us feel unwelcome. I travel a lot, and this was honestly the first time I encountered such unprofessional behavior at a hotel reception.
Also, it seems that the hotel was previously called Sun Hotel, and instead of a proper rebranding, they simply covered the old name with paper stickers around the property — it looks very unprofessional.
I hope management takes these points seriously and improves both staff training and overall quality standards, because the location itself has potential.

The property was in good location, the staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast was very good.
The iron was not available in the room and I had to call the receptionist every time I needed. Every time the room was cleaned up, they would take the iron out and we had to call again for it although it was supposed to be one of the available facilities as advertised in Booking.com
