The place was clean and big. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Air conditioning was great in the July heat. Walking distance to restaurants and about 30 min walk to the Sagrada Família. Pull out sofa bed was very comfortable.

The AC wasn’t working as well as needed in a heat wave, but at least it still worked. Wasn’t so bad that we felt like we needed to contact anyone about it.

Great location. One can walk to the historical sites, restaurants, and shopping. We visited during a heat wave but the central AC enabled comfortable evenings for sleeping. The apartment was clean, tidy, and furnishings were excellently maintained. Despite the busy street outside the apartment was very quiet.

The best part of this hotel is the staff. They were extremely accommodating, responsive, caring and kind. There was also wine left for us. The unit had a washing machine which is a two-in-one wash+dry. It took us a bit to figure it out, but in the end we had a lot of laughs and loved it. If we had been there longer we would have tried the tiny oven. They left extra towels. Lots of dishes if you want to eat at the apartment. It had two nice balconies. It was fairly centrally located and near to a pharmacy, a couple of pastry shops, and many good restaurants. Walkable to Las Ramblas and the Gothic district if you are a walker. If not, cabs are readily available just in front of the apartment.
It was pretty basic. The kitchen needed a little care and some of the furniture needed updating. It's not charming, but it does the trick. The air conditioning wasn't great, but they did try to have someone look at it. We were out and they didn't have permission to access our room, so really that was on us - they tried to reach us to ask for permission. We stayed during a heat wave and even though it never got as cool as we would have liked, it was tolerable.

Neighborhood, right outside of bus stop , plenty of shops , food win walking distance. Very modern.
A/C worked . Very thoughtful for bottle of wine although we didn’t use .
No washcloths for shower .
Only 1 washing detergent for ent stay wish it was one per night . Clothes drying rack was a little big for the balcony. So had to rise it up to hang a bit . Wish it had clothes pins . For a few items.

- The room was a bit run-down, especially the flooring.
- The hot water ran out quickly, the last two people in our group usually ended up with cold showers.

Vale Suites is in a great location for getting to La Ramblas and other Barcelona sites. It's just a 15 minute walk to Placa Catalunya and all the surrounding restaurants and cafes.

The apartment is in an excellent location, making it easy to walk to almost all the main landmarks in the city. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. It was equipped with everything a family traveling with children would need. We arrived in the evening, and there were no issues entering the property. I had received an email with instructions beforehand, and everything was perfectly clear.
I highly recommend the property.

Beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom apartment with full kitchen, including washing machine. Great location. A/C worked great. There were lots of drawers and space to hang clothes in the bedroom. Loved the windows on both ends of the apartment to let in lots of light. Lots of electrical outlets in every room to facilitate charging all of our devices.
