Wonderful
Great birthday experience for me
Cabin was not that small as feared
and the bed was very comfortable
and the shower/bathroom was great,
with unexpectedly hot/warm water ALL the time
when we needed it.
All was good.

Wonderful
The staff, especially César, were very helpful, professional, and friendly. The boat is beautiful and steeped in history; an interesting experience.
I would have loved to see it sailing but I had to return.
there was a musty smell, which is typical of sailboats, but maybe the bathroom could be aired a bit more when the weather is nice.

I’ve stayed on boats on a number of occasions in the past and this is one of the nicer ones. It was incredibly clean. And well appointed. And the location was close to a lot of amazing walking areas and sites. I don’t eat breakfast, but the coffee was fine. It was also nice to meet some fellow travelers. Of course at 6 foot 4, the berth was a little small for me, but that’s exactly what I expected.
All good!

It was in the marina very close to the old town
The rooms/ cabins on the sail boat are pretty small but I love the rocking motion.

The stay exceeded my expectations. The two crew members were extremely friendly and professional—clearly very dedicated to their work. The breakfast was excellent, and staying on a boat was such a unique and enjoyable experience.
Nothing at all. Everything was wonderful.

Disappointing
Breakfast was ok, typical continental. But we felt sorry for the last couple, food was not replenished and they did not get much to eat.
The boat is amazing!
Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, construction, traffic and no internet, we could not let anyone know we were running late. We accidentally turned a corner and saw the boat, we were so relieved and so excited to see it. But we heard all about it from the person in charge, The contact for a contracted sailing trip was the person who told us were we needed to be and what time, so we would have a place to sleep that night. No Wi-Fi on boat. Mattress is hard but if it was thicker you wouldn’t be able to get into bed.
Something broke under our room and they did offer us an upgrade room because they were afraid it would be to noisy to sleep.
Our last 2 days were supposed to be calm and relaxing before a long flight home. But instead we booked a room in the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel and forfeited our money we had prepaid.
I have worked for Marriott International for 35 years, I know hospitality! If any of my associates, myself included would have treated a guest like this, extensive training would be the bare minimum to be applied.
The rest of the staff was great.
I would take note, they give you a key to lock your door and we did because we had not yet left the boat for the day and when we went back down to our room someone was in there cleaning, which was nice but totally unexpected, I had left my purse, phones etc in the room because we had locked our door.

Great location.
The toilet seat was broken and missing. When I told them, they said the repairman hadn’t arrived yet. In addition, there was no hair dryer. The boat was also older and swayed much more than the others because of the waves. I wouldn’t go again.

Staying on a yacht like this practically by the city center is very special. It's really an experience I would not want to have missed. The ship is beautiful really well done. I would love to come back one day and experience a sailing trip on it.
I was stranded in Barcelona with my luggage and was denied early access to the ship. It's hard to do or see anything when you're hauling a suitcase.
My bed was about a meter or over 3 ft high. There was no step to get in it or anything to hold on to so that was a bit difficult. It's nice that they serve breakfast so I don't want to complain about it but beware there were no knifes you had to cut the bread rolls with a fork. It's a European style breakfast. Not bad believe me but I skipped most of it.

It was a really fun experience on a iconic boat with lots of history. Location was perfect in the harbor with shopping facilities next door. Breakfast was an added benefit!

I love classic boats and Southern Cross is an absolute and special beauty and treat! It certainly is a very different way and experience of staying in Barcelona for a couple of days. And I love harbour atmospheres in general; that one here is pretty special! Very lively and convenient environment - if you have central city activities. So location and ship absolutely great! Met some great and interesting people on the boat and we are and will stay friends !
One problem is that the boat is leaving often for private party or sightseeing trips for several hours early evenings and is only coming back between 21-22 hrs. This had been announced already during booking, but once experienced it is a bit of a con... , unless you are out and about all day anyway. But it has to be said you can work comfortably on your laptop in the very tasty and cosy salon - or outdoors on the boat. The internet works very well when the boat is at its port mooring.
One other thing was a bit of problem: - as during my stay the general temperatures in Catalonia had dropped a lot, particularly during the night, the bedding was not very helpful and not really suited for such low night temperatures. I was cold in the morning, even under my two thin blankets, and developed a bronchitis that affected me a lot after my return to Tenerife.
