It was clean, the gym was okay.
The AC didn’t work. They made us change rooms five times. They said they were going to refund 20% as courtesy, which they didn’t. And never emailed me the receipt.

A lot of potential to be a great hotel. Right now, they are far from it.
It seems this property has been acquired by the Hyatt not so long ago ( maybe a year or so ) and, there, you can definitely see gaps on the quality of service offered by their staff. It s hard to say why those happen but, having stayed in other Hyatts before, you can see that there seems not to be a standard of service guideline respected by their staff. Some examples include: I e mailed the hotel one week before my stay for them to add my membership number. They told me they did not find it. When I e mailed them again with my number, they never got back with me. That e mail is still sitting with them waiting to be answered. At check in, I told them I was there celebrating my b day. I asked of there were complimentary upgrades or anything to be offered. They said yes, they smiled, and nothing happened. I called multiple times to report that there was a high-pitched noise in my room (different from the one coming from water dispenser) and they mentioned they were going to send someone up. I asked if I could be given a new room. They told me they d call me back: that did not happen. That did mot not happen. My room phone did not work properly: I spent a great deal of time trying to call them. I went down to the front desk and they told me someone would look into it. That did not happen. I asked for two pairs of cutlery to be sent up to my room: only one made it there. I went down three times to speak to the concierge. The three times on different days, the concierge was busy and looking down at something she was doing. I was the only customer in line waiting for her: she did not even acknowledge me or said something like “ I m so sorry. I ll be with you in a minute “ NOTHING. The only kind and polite staff members I came across were Cinthia at the front desk, the blond porter at the entrance at the hotel and the check/out person. The rest, for a 5-star hotel with global standards to uphold, honestly, below par.

The pool was good
i had a very big issue .. i reserved the iconic suite for one night and the A/C was not working since 9PM .. i called the receptionist and someone came to fix it and he said that it will take one hour or more to work again but then it didnt work until the next day till i left the hotel .. i had the worst night that i was sweating because the weather was very hot and at the end i asked booking for compensation but they said that the hotel informed that the A/C was working and there was no problem ( which means that they call me a liar !! ) they are sure of that i am saying the truth and they can check everything through their receptionist and their cameras … i am very disappointed because i paid 650 euro in one night and they didnt even want to compensate me for the stay which is terrible ( for staying 16 hours with not working A/C specially at the time of sleeping ) !!

Facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient and great location. The twin room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely shower and decor.
Vegetarian food options in the main bar, it was very limited.

Nice Hotel a bus trip away from town but bus taxi services were great.
A couple of minor service issues. They were going to ring when our room was ready and never did and hard to get a drink from the waiters at time. But overall the hotel is nice the staff are nice and we enjoyed our stay

The only detail I liked was the doorman. Young person extremely welcoming and kind. Clearly knew what he was dojng
Extremely tiny room with just enough space for a bed. Staff didn't feel welcoming at all.
At breakfast, I waited 30 minutes for an omelette. Paid an additional 40e on top of the already high room fee, and they brought the card for extras (basically everything I liked was meant to be paid separately, except the omelette, which I had at the end). Breakfast was also extremely loud and when I said I would prefer to go outside they didn't offer any help (I had to request the tray). The lift takes ages to arrive. There are only 2 tiny ones for looks like around 200 rooms (one was out of order for the whole of our stay). Never again
