This is an excellent hotel in Barcelona. The hotel was previously called “Sofia,” which might help someone when looking for reviews. To begin with, the room design is truly unique — it combines tiles that imitate concrete with warm wood. The room layout is also very unusual, which makes it both interesting and, in fact, very convenient. There is plenty of space to store your belongings, even though the room itself doesn’t feel huge. The room also has a filter and a boiler that provides both hot and cold water.
Breakfast is also very diverse. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would like to thank the hotel staff for their coziness and hospitality.
Personally, the mattress was not soft enough for me, but of course that’s a matter of preference. Overall, all the bed linen was of very high quality

The lifts are awful! Waiting 10mins for a lift or it turning up full. It’s a bit far from the main city centre

An excellent hotel- extremely professional, efficient, friendly staff throughout the hotel. Lovely room: coffee maker, water cooler, fridge, tv(but didn’t use as so much to do in Barcelona), splendid view from 11th floor, very comfortable bed, plenty of space, brilliant shower. Pool area very good, good pool towels, comfortable subbed, good pool bar. We did have a problem with our safe - but excellent service, it was replaced within 15 minutes!! Fantastic. Thoroughly recommend - above 5*. Thank you to everyone involved

The facilities were amazing, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The shower was leaking when we arrived, but the staff quickly fixed it, cleaned everything thoroughly, and even offered a treat for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated.

The lobby is nice
The bed is too soft and the pool is so much smaller than in the advertising and so is the entire area. Check in is slow and not at all 5 star, takes time stand in line even though you have prepaid. Also hotel asks for a 300 euro hold on your creditcard which is fine, IF you know in advance before booking. I don't appreciate additional costs without notice. HYATT Barcelona was our 5th stop hotel in a trip of 5 countries and for Barcelona we choose 5 star. We stayed 3 and 4 stars in venice croatia and Paris and those stays were much more value for money like complimentary breakfast, big pool areas and better beds. And a mirror for makeup in the room! Also a fail to provide in Hyatt Barcelona

Great location, loved the rooftop & the spa! The hotel itself is gorgeous
The restaurant Lena food was not good. It was the most expensive meal/nasty meal I had during my whole stay. Also we had issues with AC which was quickly resolved

Excellent location, attentive staff. In particular, the Concierge Team were superb in terms of their support and suggestions for dinner etc.
Would have preferred a bit more on site in terms of other amenities. Club lounge on the 18th floor was a little underwhelming.
