We requested a double bed in a non- smoking room which they gave us, but when we opened the door the room smelt as though someone had been smoking in it for sometime. However the young lady at the reception apologized and offered us the only room available which was a room with two single beds. I feel that I should be entitled to a refund. Your add offered a free taxi from the airport but when I scrolled down and entered my information it requested my credit card and a payment of € 59.00 I don’t think I will using Booking. com again. Last year I travelled with my family of 7 adults for 19 nights staying in 3 rooms each night, at Hotels in Barcelona, Madeira and Paris all were booked and paid by me and I was only given points for my rooms.

Great location, next metro station and most of the city is in walking distance. Nice rooms, good service.
As it is situated at Parallel, there is some traffic noice in the room.

Very mixed feelings about this stay. The location was excellent and the atmosphere of the hotel was really nice. However, I was very disappointed that it was impossible to extend the check-out time even by one hour — not even as a paid option. In most four-star hotels this is usually not a problem, especially when a guest is willing to pay extra. Being told to “check again in the morning” also makes little sense when the whole point of requesting a late check-out is to sleep longer comfortably, not to wake up early just to ask again. Another issue was the extremely poor soundproofing. The walls are so thin that you can hear virtually everything from neighboring rooms, including bathroom use, which seriously affected the comfort of the stay.
