Location was excellent, walking distance to attractions, public bus to airport was just around the corner of the hotel. Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was great! Room was big and clean. Highly recommended to everyone!

Location was outstanding, convenient to everything...literally. Metro and bus stops were 100-200 m away. A very nice grocery store was 2 minutes away. Excellent restaurants all within 10 minutes walking distance.
The room layout was weird. The sink had large cabinet doors that served no purpose, except to annoy. The "desk"/bench at the end of the bed made the room feel really small and awkward. The decor made us feel like mice in Swiss cheese

Soundproofed rooms were fantastic in a noisy central location. Breakfast was wonderful and breakfast staff were so friendly and attentive.
No chairs or place to sit in the room other than the bed.

Room Mate Pau is a stylish and modern hotel with every comfort located in the heart of Barcelona. The staff is helpful, especially the fellow who recommended Casa Alfonso!
I especially loved the delicious and varied breakfast. My complements to the chefs and to Jordie whose warm greetings and friendliness makes guests feel welcome.
I don't like the policy of no cancellations. Several other hotels I was considering have a more reasonable one.

The breakfast was very good and exceeded my expectations. The gentleman who was in charge of the breakfast place was pleasant and friendly. He spoke find English and kept the place clean. The food was very good. Every day you would see a few new kinds of food

Fantastic A/C, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water no matter the time of day, great water pressure and we had a cute balcony. Hotel is also very well located and there’s a taxi stand right outside the door, but trains are also less than 100 feet from the front door. Also great shopping on the square for all of your basic needs.

The location of the hotel was excellent beyond expectations. Check-in was smooth and the room was very clean. The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed. The breakfast was great!! The breakfast staff was so kind and nice that we really had fun. It is highly recommended to have breakfast at the hotel

Excellent location - just steps from Cataluyna square and the airport bus. We could walk everywhere and handy to public transit - Metro stop right at the square
