Location was amazing. So close to train station and In walking distance to almost everywhere we wanted to visit. Breakfast was fantastic...lots of choices...very fresh...great start to the day.

Stayed at Room Mate Anna Barcelona in April 2026 and had a really pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent, right in front of Casa Batlló.
The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful.
At first, I stayed in a basic interior room, which felt quite dark with very little natural light. Later, the receptionist kindly offered an upgrade at a good price to a Deluxe room with a balcony view over Gràcia street and Casa Batllo. That room and view was definitely my favorite part of the stay.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience. I would consider staying here again on a future trip.
One downside I would mention is the basic interior rooms. I wouldn’t recommend staying in them due to lack of natural light.

Cleanliness of the room, nice made beds every day, excellent cupboard space with fridge and safe. Superb location!
When it was raining, you could hear the rain in our room and not from the window, but I guess that is because we were on the 7th floor.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to all the sights, the area is safe with many nice restaurants and bars, the staff is responsive and kind, the breakfast is varied and different to some extent every day.
The only one that we didn't like is that we did not consider the location on the main boulevard. The noise is quite serious and it continues at night, so we consider this as a minus. The hotel also claims to be four stars and we recommend that they correct the lack of ventilation in the bathrooms because it smells of mold and the canal, which is quite unpleasant for such a level of hotel and price positioning.

Great location, close to major attractions, restaurants and shops which was ideal for a city break. Family room was perfect for us with interconnected rooms as we were together but our daughter had her own independence with added bonus of a patio. Staff were efficient, friendly and accommodating. Celebrated a Birthday whilst we were here and hotel kindly left a message and treats to celebrate.
Card keys didn’t always work on inner room doors but reception staff quickly resolved the issue.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was a good size for the two of us. The location was perfect for our stay in Barcelona and the staff couldn’t have been better! The lady who checked us in was incredibly helpful and definitely started our stay off right!
Only thing I would change would be the shower head was a little bit rubbish but other than that it was perfect

Great Location, great room and lovely balcony too! I always love the Room Mate chain.

Althought the hotell chain name can make you think of an hostel type of accomodation, actually is a very chic and well managed hotel. We liked it a lot, the rooms design was very practical and well suited, the bed very confortable and it was quite and relaxing. Easy acces to everything as it is right in the heart of the city. We will return.
