The hotel is perfectly located in the city center within reach of Barcelonas most iconic monuments. The hall is charming and check-in process went smoothly. Yannick at the front desk is a master of professionalism.
The room we got (double with a large king size bed, one single bed and a bunk bed) was really spacious with high ceilings. We also got a jacuzzi in front of the king size bed. It looked big.
We appreciated a lot the low usage of plastic and the water in paper cans.
All the hotel staff we spoke with was really prepared and made us comfortable.
Unfortunately the furniture looked old and really used, the bunk bed was cracking all the time at any movement, air conditioning was making window glasses cracking and it was not good as half of the room was super cold while the zone with the master bedroom was warmer and it was hard to find a balance.
In the room the walls, floor and some ceilings were badly painted and were all but harmonized (different colors, patterns, materials). The result is a feeling of a little mess.
Also the room was poorly soundproof as a lot of noises coming from other rooms nearby and from outside on the courtyard.
The bathroom had a sink with broken ceramic and the smell of the water wasnt really appealing. The shower was really big enough to accommodate two people inside but the shower taps needed maintenance as there was a lot of limestone deposit.
The glass door of the bathroom didnt have a lock.
The breakfast was ok. We didnt like that there was no bar and we had to have coffee or cappuccinos from machines and tasted a bit chemicals lacking the typical bar flavors.
Buffet selection was minimal but complete and all the food we tasted was really good, from sweets to salty ones. They can also cook something extra if you ask for. A problem is that the only waiter serving at the tables barely spoke English and looked really really shy.

The location is amazing. Very central. You can walk to Gaudi's casas, Ramblas, the gothic quarter. There's parking just in front of the hotel (it's not free but you get a preferred tariff as a guest in the hotel). A lot of restaurants, cafs, and shops are very nearby.
No storage in the bathroom. The sink is tiny and not practical.

Petit Palace Museum is a great hotel. It has a great vibe and a top location+ spacious rooms, great facilities in the room, is clean and comfy. Hats off to the staff Lucas, Xavi, Cristian and particularly Natalia who was super helpful, super fun and super fast (loved her). The stay at the Petit Palace Museum really added some flavour to my stay in Barcelona.

Great location, bed was very comfortable, shower was the best I've had in a hotel before, staff friendly and room very clean.
Would have been nice to have an actual bar within the hotel but not really too much of a negative as the location is great so there's lots around
