Location was great. Staff was nice and held our luggage after check out until our flight.
Room was dirty, sheets with crumbs/bits of dirt you could feel with your feet. Shower barely worked and was super tiny. No fan in bathroom so the bathroom smells lingered. Two of the thinnest pillows ever for two people made sleeping super uncomfortable.

The staff was very nice and accomindating. out fan broke and they quickly gave us a new one. they also made our beds and gave us clean towels which I didnt really expect with a hostel. The location was amazing our view was very nice.
The bathroom didn't have hand soap most of the time and the coffee machine was broken.

Wonderful
Very good location for tourists and the reception lady was very friendly. My room had a great view of the plaza and the rooftops of Barcelona. Loved it!
The accommodations are very modest. While this doesn't bother me, I think with a small investment in furniture and some careful planning, they could give a completely different vibe to the place.

Place was dirty.... really dirty. Sheets were sticky, floor was sticky. They lock the elevator at midnite and we were 7 floors up. Very weird to have a hotel dictate what time we go to bed

The room is located in the very heart of Barcelona, with a view of La Rambla from the window. The neighbourhood is, to say the least, controversial, but it is extremely central, allowing you to reach practically anywhere with ease. The pensión is an old house with many beautiful architectural details, but it also has the typical problems of older housing—namely, a lack of heating and high humidity, which can be particularly uncomfortable in winter. However, the property does provide ample blankets. A kettle is available for use, but there are no cups, plates, or any other utensils to prepare or store food. Staff was extremely nice!

Cool location
The entrance process was not great and did not leave a good first impression. The room was not very clean, and the overall condition felt neglected. Everything was super old, and the interior was not very nice or inviting. The furniture and decor looked outdated, and the space did not feel well maintained. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Our stay here was exceptional, the staff are amazing, extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room and hotel itself are very clean, and the location is as perfect as it gets. The view from the window is beautiful, and the beds are firm and comfortable, no complaints.

The location is amazing, close to everything and 4 minutes walk to Liceu metro station
They close the elevator at 12PM, I had to carry my luggage for 4 floors because i left at 3 am

Pretty basic hotel, but the convenience is hard to beat. I had access to my tours nearby and and the nightlife was fun. Plaza Real is so nice in the evening too.
I would prefer coffee and or vending option. Prefer better towels.

Disappointing
2 day stay to catch early flight to NYC. Exactly where we wanted to be in Barcelona! Manager extremely helpful to get us settled, as we are in our 70’s and husband has Parkingsons, unstable on stairs. The hotel has a great elevator on ground floor entrance to front desk and rooms on the 1st, 2nd and 3 rd floors. Beautiful balcony looking over Plaza Reial. Close to restaurants and museums.
Informed manager at checking we would checkout at 6:30 am to catch early flight. The morning we left room with luggage to catch a cab just 29 steps from the door, discovered staff had not arrived. Unmanned building at night, we discovered. Elevator locked. I had to carry two 27 kilograms per bag down 37 beautiful white marble steps- one at a time- then assist disable spouse to ground floor. The process overwhelmed me and I suffered an acute asthma attack due to the physical stress.

Location wad perfect right in Placa Reial and staff was friendly. Room was very clean. We booked a double room with extra bed and private bathroom. They cleaned daily and replaced the sheets daily and gave us new towels and toilet roll. Elevator and AC works, which is essential for some people. We liked everything except that it is really small.
Its a rely small room. Bathroom sink was tough to use as the mirror above it had a shelf that made it hard to even wash your face over the sink. I think that shelf should be removed. Also, we were woken up at 5 am from noisy guys whi had just come from partying. It ruined our sleep. However we kind of expected it for this area of barcelona.

Great location.
Found a pair of jeans under the dresser when I was searching for the second cockroach I saw. First one I flushed down the toilet . He/she was the size of my thumb! Also bring earplugs if you have a room on the square the noise last late into the night…..24:00-01:00 and the crews cleaning up and delivering are their bright and early.
