Very Poor
We checked out imidiately as we checked in and cancelled. There was mold everywhere! We changed our room and then there is no running hot water. The bed was super squeaky, everything was old. This facility needs to be shut down! İt is not acceptable for a city like Barcelona. Booking.com didn’t care much as İ told them about the incident and didn’t even ask for the photos after we got our refund. Dont go there!

Only Mr Kiko on the reception is the only good thing in this hotel other than location..
Too expensive Lift is not for 24 hours Rooms are small and old .. Shared rooms are on 6th floor and no lift that is why it is cheap in comparison. Old building and Noicee surroundings..

Great location with an amazing terrace view – worth it for the experience What we loved the most about this place is definitely the location. It’s right in the very center of Barcelona, on Plaça Reial, which gives it a special charm. The view from the terrace is beautiful both during the day and at night – perfect for relaxing with a glass of Spanish wine. Everything is within walking distance – the beach, Barcelona Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, and even Gaudí’s Casa Batlló is just a couple of minutes away. If you prefer public transport, the metro is very close and takes you quickly to Sagrada Família and other attractions. The Gothic Quarter, where the accommodation is located, is full of life. You can find literally everything around – great restaurants, bakeries, taco bars, boutiques, and local shops. The host is very kind, as well as the rest of the staff. A special mention goes to Kiril, who communicates very well with guests from the Balkans and is always ready to help.
As for the downsides, the place is a bit old and could use some renovation. The blankets had some stains, and there were two rusty chairs on the terrace – although Kiril quickly replaced them with better ones. On the positive side, towels are changed every day, which we appreciated. The bathroom is basic but functional, with soap, shampoo, and toilet paper provided. In the end, it’s all about expectations – you get what you pay for. If this place were fully renovated in such a prime location, it would probably cost three times more. For us, the amazing location and atmosphere made it easy to overlook the small imperfections.

Location was great. Staff was nice and held our luggage after check out until our flight.
Room was dirty, sheets with crumbs/bits of dirt you could feel with your feet. Shower barely worked and was super tiny. No fan in bathroom so the bathroom smells lingered. Two of the thinnest pillows ever for two people made sleeping super uncomfortable.

The staff was very nice and accomindating. out fan broke and they quickly gave us a new one. they also made our beds and gave us clean towels which I didnt really expect with a hostel. The location was amazing our view was very nice.
The bathroom didn't have hand soap most of the time and the coffee machine was broken.

Very good location for tourists and the reception lady was very friendly. My room had a great view of the plaza and the rooftops of Barcelona. Loved it!
The accommodations are very modest. While this doesn't bother me, I think with a small investment in furniture and some careful planning, they could give a completely different vibe to the place.

Place was dirty.... really dirty. Sheets were sticky, floor was sticky. They lock the elevator at midnite and we were 7 floors up. Very weird to have a hotel dictate what time we go to bed

The room is located in the very heart of Barcelona, with a view of La Rambla from the window. The neighbourhood is, to say the least, controversial, but it is extremely central, allowing you to reach practically anywhere with ease. The pensión is an old house with many beautiful architectural details, but it also has the typical problems of older housing—namely, a lack of heating and high humidity, which can be particularly uncomfortable in winter. However, the property does provide ample blankets. A kettle is available for use, but there are no cups, plates, or any other utensils to prepare or store food. Staff was extremely nice!

Cool location
The entrance process was not great and did not leave a good first impression. The room was not very clean, and the overall condition felt neglected. Everything was super old, and the interior was not very nice or inviting. The furniture and decor looked outdated, and the space did not feel well maintained. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Our stay here was exceptional, the staff are amazing, extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room and hotel itself are very clean, and the location is as perfect as it gets. The view from the window is beautiful, and the beds are firm and comfortable, no complaints.
