Our room had a balcony overlooking the square and was just fantastic; especially at night. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel location was unbeatable. Cabs and buses were just across the street! The included breakfast buffet provided a good variety of both hot and cold options. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.
We found nothing to merit a negative comment!

Convenient location, beautiful facilities, attentive and accommodating staff.
The spa and pool were in a separate building 8 minutes away by foot, and the elevators were small by comparison. However there were two passenger elevators and the wait was short.

We had a great 3-night stay at Olivia Plaza Hotel. The location is one of its biggest advantages, very central and convenient for exploring Barcelona, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions within walking distance.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. What made our experience particularly memorable was how they handled our last-minute request for a room upgrade so that we could watch the celebration of Spain winning the World Cup from our balcony. They managed to accommodate us despite the last-minute request, and being able to experience the atmosphere and celebrations from our room made an already exciting night even more special.
Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Between the excellent location, helpful staff, and the memorable experience from our balcony, Olivia Plaza Hotel was a great choice for our time in Barcelona.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Room is big and upgraded. Floor to ceiling glass widow with amazing view of the city. Staff very welcoming and breakfast has a lot of options.
Spa and gym was 20 min walk from the hotel, not very convenient.

Amazing central location right on Plaça de Catalunya, beautiful modern building and very well‑thought‑out facilities and communications throughout the hotel. The highlight is the staff: they show you everything, help with every detail and genuinely anticipate your needs – probably the best hotel team I’ve met in all my travels.
