I loved the location of the property. If ever you forgot something you can run to the mall 2 min walk.
As you leave you can easily grab a taxi as they wait next to the entrance.
Very central. Walking distance from numerous touristy spots.
The buffet was amazing
The beds were firm but nice requested more pillows.
The walls were slightly tin but no partying heard.
Requested a room away from la ramblas street and it was quite quiet.
I would recommend staying in this hotel.
They provided hair dryer, kettle, fridge and a safe.
Theres also robes and slippers for the room.
They provided extra toiletry if forgotten.
Im really impressed. Would stay there again.

The staff at the reception including the door man was really hepfull, carrying and nice. I really appreciated their service.
On the other hand the staff in the restaurant part of hotel was very reluctant and not nice to guests. We had the feeling, that you are bothering them with your food and drink orders. Just seemed they don't want us to spend the money in there and go have a drink or food somewhere else in Barcelona. I was having a very generous budget to spend there and I simply had to go to nearby restaurant, where hospitality simply meant something. Hotel could have earned those 800e, which was the restaurant bill. Also during the breakfast, when there was no cutlery available on the table it took the waiters approx. 15minutes to bring it. This meant, that the food you just brought from the buffet was already completely cold. I understand they may be busy, but then I would suggest to have cutlery basket at the buffet area, so you can pick it up by yourself and not to be dependant on the waiter. If you ordered omelette, they either forgot about you or simply brought it 30 minutes later. I travel very often due to my work and experiencing hotels and restaurants and truly this service was poor.

Room was great, we had a great view on the Plaza but I would expect this, what really surprised me was wonderful staff, from the reception to the restaurant.
My girlfriend was sick on our last day and I asked the kitchen for some plain rice which they immediately agreed to bring to our room. When the next day I was expecting to pay during check out they said it was free of charge.
I really felt taken care of.
Nothing, if I have to be absurdly nitpicky the air conditioning in the room was a little bit finicky.

There was a lack of any facility for a simple sandwich/tea during the day/evening - only a formal restaurant with a sophisticated menu.
