The staff is lovely. The hotel is very clean. Good location. The rooftop area, with its pool and seating areas, is great fun. There is a staff member at the reception who helped us make reservations for places we wanted to visit. There is a taxi stand near the hotel, and three metro stations within 300–400 meters. We were given a very large double room equipped with a coffee machine and capsules. It is highly suitable for families with children. The hotel is highly recommended.

Good location. Good sized pool for kids to relax. Good menu and good food at the lobby bar and pool bar.
There are literally stairs inside the room. If you want to go to the bathroom or closet area you have to walk up and down 6 steps EVERY SINGLE TIME! None of the photos show that. Imagine if you’re someone with a strangled ankle or mobility issues??? I am none of those cases, but at the end of a full day walking around the city, the last thing your tired legs want is to keep climbing up and down stairs to go have a shower or simply reach your bed. Very disappointing

Location was very good with major Barcelona attractions nearby. Very easy to get a taxi outside the hotel . Room was spacious and clean with big bathroom and dressing area. Facilities were good. Staff was very helpful in moving the luggage to our room / calling a taxi or answering any other queries.
Upon check-in, I specifically asked whether there was any security deposit, as I preferred to pay it by credit card so that the amount could be easily reversed later. However, the person checking us in charged me €173 and informed me that this was the city tax. I paid the amount using a prepaid forex card. Later, after checking my booking details, I noticed that the city tax was actually listed as €73. I immediately contacted the reception, and they confirmed that the additional €100 was a security deposit. The issue is, firstly, that the charges were not explained clearly or accurately at the time of check-in. Had I been informed that €100 was a security deposit, I would have preferred to pay it by credit card. Secondly, since it was charged to a prepaid forex card, I am concerned about how and when the security deposit will be refunded. Another issue was the sound insulation. The room walls were quite thin, and we could clearly hear noises from adjacent rooms as well as from the floors above, which was disturbing, particularly at night.

Perfect location, near to 3 different underground stations (5-10 min walk to each) and several bus stops, so it was very easy to get around Barcelona from here. Also easy to walk to lots of nearby places. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice of cold foods, and the made to order omelettes were particularly good. Wonderful rooftop pool which was very quiet in the eventing, with a lovely view over the city. Nice rooftop bar also. The room itself was incredible, very big with a huge bathroom and separate dressing area. Also nice to have the Nespresso coffee machine and mini fridge.
