HOTEL: The hotel was beautifully designed, my son loved the swinging chairs, and they were very comfortable and relaxing. We loved the roof terrace for the views of the park and somewhere to rest, the roof terrace was never busy! The outside courtyard was also nice. Each evening after a busy travel day, we would get a drink from the bar and visit one of these areas. STAFF: Each member of staff was very friendly, polite and easy to talk too, they made an extra effort to talk to my son which I personally liked, because he was included in everything. They were also very kind to talk to with me in Spanish so I could practice my Spanish and not always respond in English. ` ROOM: Our room was a good size, nothing to complain about, we had no view but a small courtyard, the bonus part was that this helped keep the room cool. We personally thought the pillows were too big and uncomfortable to sleep on. The bed is large and firm and we slept very well. The bathroom was a good size, very clean and nice powerful showers. We are happy with the room. BUFFET: We needed to pay for the buffet which was very lucky for me, as my son can be a picky eater. There was plenty of choice and variety that kept us both very happy. Good drink selection. I also thought the food was tasty, I enjoyed the Spanish omelette very much. LOCATION: Travelling with a child the location was perfect. The park was a great way of relaxing . The Arc de Triomf always had some entertainment without being over crowded. We felt very safe. 6 min walk to the Metro stop. We used a lot of the buses, as these went directly to the science museum CosmoCaixa and Park Guell. If you go through the park and turn right at the '3 Dragons' castle and walk down Ferran Princesa this was a 5 minute walk to the chocolate museum & 20-25 minute walk to La Rambla. We also walked 25-30 mins to La Sagrada Familia and 20 minutes to the nearest beaches

The location opposite the park. The view over the park and towards the sea. The walking distance to sights in the city. The lovely staff. The decor and furnishing made it a relaxing and welcoming place to stay. The breakfast was very good.
It was a shame that the breakfast was not included in the price.
They were varnishing the decking on the roof terrace which reduced capacity and smelled a lot.
The lighting in the bar at night was a bit dim.

The room was lovely. Beautiful rooftop and also very nice lounge lobby area. We did try the buffet breakfast the one day and it was delicious. Fabulous location across from the park and easy to get anywhere the city or beach area.
There is really not much room for the clothes especially if you are staying a couple of weeks. If you like to leave everything in suitcase then its ok. This really is my only complaint

The location, ambience and bar were great.
The room had no wardrobe, chest of drawers or desk. Also no tea/coffee making facilities This let the hotel down.

Hotel was very clean! Staff were pleasant - metro station about 10 min walk from hotel, hotel in general was about 25 mins walk from main attractions, room was on the smaller side but perfect for us for all we were in it. Opted out of daily cleaning which was a great option to give people
