Wonderful
It is a beautiful hotel and a lovely location with very nice staff. It’s across the street from the parc Ciutadella and a short walk to the Picasso museum and many little restaurants. The bar area and breakfast room are beautiful!
We needed early check-in and a room was ready and they gave it to us but charged an additional €50 for it. I think that’s a bit excessive. Especially since the room was already available. It’s a little petty.

The location was in a place that allowed us to visit many other restaurants, etc. My room was comfortable and cleaned often. I did not originally include breakfast in my reservation. I only attended one morning, and I received terrible service at Volta.
I did not like the level customer service or, lack thereof, by some of the check-in staff and some of the waiters at Volta. I received really good service on my birthday, September 26th; however, during the remaining days, several people treated my friend and I in an indifferent manner. They would walk past us without speaking, they would not check on us, they would dance in other parts of the restaurant when we needed service, and they noticeably treated white patrons differently.

The service at the facility was outstanding from the front desk check-in and out to the restaurant and bar. We especially loved our bartenders! But our absolute FAVORITE thing was the terrace! what a great view. The other great thing was the location - close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go.

This property honestly exceeded expectations. They had a 'refresh room' which we used (coming off a long haul flight) until our room was ready which was a huge added bonus we weren't aware of. The pool area was just perfect and the staff were extremely personable and friendly. The location was also in a great neighbourhood.
The rooms were a little small, however expected for Barcelona.

It’s beautiful! The hotel feels luxurious, peaceful, calm, a nice retreat in a very busy and hot humid city. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and have great air conditioning!
Very hard-working staff who are very kind and professional. The staff is so awesome! And they cannot do enough to make you feel like your needs are met.
We really appreciated that they accommodated our vegan diet at breakfast. The food was wonderful! We had fresh bread and jam, but no vegan butter.), Vegan yogurt, plenty of fresh fruit, juices, coffee, and tea, and even the option to have the chef make made to order sautéed vegetables, and also quinoa bowls with spinach and avocado. It was great to be able to eat well as a vegan/ plant-based eater.
Can’t fault the property, but the rooms are a little bit on the small side, but this is very typical in Europe

Great location. Quiet. Nice having a roof top pool with a bar for a afternoon break. Nice gym.
Minimal in-room amenities. No slippers robes or bathroom amenities other than shampoo conditioner and body gel.

The staff was amazing. Happy, helpfully and great energy. Manger was very helpful as well. The location of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are really well done and attractive, and our private rooftop deck was amazing.
Beds are really hard.
We had a glitch with a broken air conditioner that was not ideal. The front desk and management did everything they could to rectify the problem and take care of us. We would stay at this hotel again. Thank you to the hotel staff for their amazing attitudes and smiles.
