This unique hostel covers 59 acres in the privileged setting of Collserola Park, the largest metropolitan park in the world, just a 20 minute train ride from central Barcelona. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a fantastic natural environment at the Inout hostel. Breathe in the fresh air while you go for long walks through the woodland. Relax in the Inout’s common rooms with TV, or read in peace in the library. Children can enjoy themselves in the playground, or by playing tennis, ping pong, soccer and basketball on site. Enjoy full meals at the self-service restaurant. You can also cook for yourself in the in-house kitchens, or take a picnic basket out into the green surroundings. Make the most of free parking on site after the drive from Barcelona. You can also take a straight train to world-famous Plaça Catalunya. The place is quiet and peaceful, located in the middle of the mountains. It’s a great spot for relaxing.
There are no shops or grocery stores nearby, so it’s difficult to buy anything. Also, you have to pay €5.50 per night as a tourism tax or something similar.

I didn't like the collection, 10 people I guess it's too much. Also I don't know why the city tax wasn't included in the price, and I had to pay 11€ in addition for two person

Overall vibe is good. I like the staff, they are lovely.
It is a bit complicated with then location, it is a hike honestly. The food was ok but a bit expensive for what its worth, also top bunks don't have a charging station for your devices.

It was peaceful away from the hectic tourist areas. I enjoyed being surrounded by trees
There wasn’t any shuttles to get you up there. Yes, it’s only a 13 minute walk but it’s a steep walk with luggage.

I really like the idea of integrating people with disabilities into this hostel; the staff are very kind and welcoming. At first, I was a bit upset because it seemed far from the city center, but I soon realized it was worth the price. It’s actually very easy to reach, and my stay became very enjoyable.

Very Good
The staff was incredibly friendly, and helpful in every way possible. The view from the balcony was amazing, and it was kept mostly clean so it's a lovely social spot.
The location was outside of the city, and night life is absolutely out of the picture, because the last train heading to the hostel leaves at 24:00. Some facilites could've been in better shape, for example toilets and showers.

Poor
This will appeal to some: scenic views in nature with lots of things to do from a pool to a restaurant to a basketball court.
It was very, very much not for me. The building is around 40 to 60 minutes outside the city which includes about a 13 minute walk uphill from the station. Access, as well as convenience or comfort, are not there, so don't book unless you want a nature getaway from the city and you pack very light.

Great quiet place to rest out our jet lag before diving into the big city. The first night we had no AC and we should have known to go to the desk for help. They control the AC from there.. the grounds could use some TLC...

Good spot. We booked a whole room as we are a family with kids. They liked the bunk beds. Good restaurant, pleasant terrace for breakfast or a beer later in the day. Decent pool to cool off in summer. Relaxed vibe. Good location too. Some reviews here say the location is a weak point but it's only 10 minutes walk from the train station that gets you easily into the centre of Barcelona. I'd definitely return.
