We arrived at Gran Via and there was an issue with our room so they taxied us to their sister hotel, Gran Via Catedral. The hotel was spectacular and the staff were so professional, friendly and helpful.

I had a very disappointing stay. I couldn’t even take a proper shower — the water was either extremely hot or freezing cold, with no stable temperature in between. On top of that, the room’s window was practically useless; it faced a blank hotel wall, so I couldn’t see outside or even tell what the weather was like. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience at all.

Everything was perfect, staff super helpful, large room. The room and bathroom structure is odd but actually works well and creates more space

Great location. Clean, comfortable beds, and a great breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel is very close to all the tourist attractions and is in a great area. We also appreciated the soundproofing — even though the room was facing the street, you couldn’t hear anything. The staff was also friendly and respectful.
Just two small downsides — the pillows for the twin beds were too thick, long, and firm, so we ended up not using them. Also, a pair of room slippers would have been useful. Otherwise, the hotel was a great place for our 3-night stay in Barcelona.
