Best of all was breakfast, very tasty fresh orange juice, bread, over all high quality and great service! The hotel is located in a worn out quarter, so there is no magnificent view to expect. We had two rooms with balconies right above the pool and the room standard felt luxury - all great design and beautiful but maybe not the most functional solutions. We appreciated the small pool area to sit down and relax in the sun after arriving. Urgell red subway is just across the street and la Rambla maybe a 15 minutes walk away. There are lots of supermarkets in the area, the closest one in the same building. Sports Bar & Grill 15 minutes away was a nice place with good food to watch the football game.
We compared a lot of hotels in the area before booking, and Gran Vía BCN definitely met our expectations!
More functional solutions - better place to put the suitcases, shower control was 1.5 meter away from the shower, thus it was hard to regulate the temperature when it takes so long time for the water to reach the nozzle.

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room, and a great location. I’d happily stay here again.
The toilet and shower glass are frosted, but you can still see through them, which doesn’t provide enough privacy, so I wasn’t a fan.

Excellent location, the apartment was centrally located, clean, and the staff were very good.
Initially, there was a problem with communication through Booking, as they could not see the conversation history. At the parking facility they cooperate with, I was given a higher price than the one I had booked myself, and I had to wait two days for a response.
Additionally, I did not like the room layout, as there was no unified bathroom, but separate shower, toilet, and sink, resulting in a lack of sufficient privacy.

The property was very clean and Tidy and my daughter enjoyed the pool.
The stairs are steep but once we knew there was a lift all good.
