Location is perfect to explore city center on food
Breakfast without the butter availability, and eggs to be ordered on demand.
No sound isolation between the rooms.

Fantastic, convenient location in the Gothic district.
Unfortunately our balcony room was noisy (even with earplugs) on Friday night, but it was before a holiday so we expected it to be busier. We had just hoped ear plugs would have looked after it.

The location was excellent
The room was dark with no real window. Bed sheets were very thin and basic. No duvet instead there was a blanket.

If you get room 112 bring ear plugs as right above the entrance to the hotel and one of the busiest streets in Barcelona

The location is perfect, near La Rambla, in the heart of the city

Great location in gothic quarter
Staff were helpful for most of our stay. However we had a very bad experience on last day. We booked a taxi to train station day before only to be told when we got to reception with our luggage that taxis cannot come to the hotel that day, assume because St George’s day. Surely this was known previously? And why not communicated before the time instead of waiting for us to come to reception with luggage. We were very offhand told to walk to Ramblas and flag a taxi, actually a taxi should have been booked to pick up at Ramblas. It was impossible to flag a taxi, none were stopping and asked if we booked and taxis told us to rather take metro. I was travelling with my 80 year old father and we had to carry bags up and down stairs. Lack of care from hotel.
