Exceptional
The hotel was very clean, tidy and cozy. The room where I stayed had a big balcony so I enjoyed the view from it. Additionally, the beds were comfortable, the sheets were very clean and the air conditioning very strong which I really liked as outside was pick-summer and it was very hot. I liked very much the blue color of the bedspread. The cleaning is good, the stuff were nice and we couldn’t hear the noise from the neighbors which was very pleasant.
Firstly, as we were two persons, there was only one fleece blanket in the closet and we had to unite the beds to use it in the night as the conditioning was strong and somehow we got cold during the night.
Additionally, I don’t know but I would have liked to be announced that the breakfast was not included in the stay. Maybe it was our fault to not ask the receptionist. It’s just we got confused and in the end we paid for it at checkout. However regarding the food options it was not very much compared to other 3 star hotel where we stayed before coming here. The choice of food was the same each day but it was nevertheless, delicious. Maybe it would have been great to have more fresh fruit options especially as it was summer and more hot breakfast food options like pancakes or porridge. It is just a suggestion.

Location was very good, 5 mins walk from 2 different metro lines and numerous buses. Airconditioning worked well. Restaurant was good value.
Hotel was able to allow early check-in on arrival (although of course this cannot be guaranteed).
I would have liked a reminder message from the hotel that it was taking the first night's charges the day before we arrived. I had forgotten (having booked several weeks previous), resulting in my bank refusing payment and my having to sort that out on the move.
Breakfast was good, but would have been even better if the hot food had been a little hotter.

Location and staff were fabulous and so was the breakfast selection. Especially liked the lounge area in foyer as our son lives next door and it was more comfortable and cleaner than his apartment

Wonderful, competent, friendly and helpful staff managed a large quantity of guests without problems. Perfect location in the most desirable area for tourist visitors. Clean, cool and quiet rooms were a haven for tired tourists. The price is outstanding for the services we received. Also, the breakfast buffet is the most impressive spread that I have ever encountered in a 3 star hotel (and in most most 4 star hotels, too). We had a wonderful visit at this hotel and will recommend it to all friends, family and business associates here in the US. Hoping to come back soon!
It was a little hard to find the hotel, driving there in a family car. You have to be familiar with the location to navigate the maze of tiny streets, but there are 2 larger areas within easy walking distance, where your friends can drop you off: Plaze De San Jaume and a Plaza next to Las Ramblas.

Absolutely loved the location, perfectly located for exploring the old gothic quarter on foot, and accessing the rest of Barcelona by metro or bus.
The rooms ( we were there with our sons) were immaculately clean. The breakfast options were sizeable and delicious.
The only thing I felt was missing was tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
