Location was great! A good coffee shop very close that opened at 7am. Very clean and staff was nice.
No coffee machine in room and did not like the coffee or their breakfast in basement cafe. Beds were not that comfortable but not horrible. Make sure you bring soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Exceptional
Large lovely room with a balcony overlooking the streets. We could hear the church bells ringing and people singing in the square. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

Good
The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and responsive. Good cleaning.
The 2 beds stuck together not able to separate them enough. The glass door on the bathroom was insufficient. There was a sizeable gap when closed therefore leaving less privacy and let light into the room when another was trying to sleep. And, the entry door slammed loudly each closing.

Walking distance to a lot of places, staff were really helpful, I felt safe as a solo traveler. Great for wheelchair users.

Very Good
The location of the Hotel is excellent. Right in the heart of the gothic quarter. You can get lost in the labyrinth of cute misterious streets right from the hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff is very nice and professional. The breakfast was nice.
So the description said "inner-courtyard view" and the sample photos show a normal window facing another builiding. In reality the opaque window was facing a ventillation well and it was positioned at a height like being in a semi-basement (the room was on the 4th floor!)
I understand that in Spain it is common to have ventillation wells and the hotel is in an old building with a given structure but calling it an "inner courtyard" and representing it with photos showing a normal view of another facade is total deception!

Wonderful
Can't beat the location in the middle of the Gothic quarter, and just a couple of blocks from opposite subway stations on the two main lines that take you anywhere else.
The best breakfast buffet I've ever seen at a hotel (a dozen different types of sausages, ham, and bacon, 1/2 dozen types of cheeses, 3 types each of eggs and yoghurts, 1/2 dozen + each types of breads and cereals, 1/2 dozen types of fresh and roasted vegetables and fresh fruits, pastries...).
Could have had conditioner and lotion in the bathroom, not just shampoo/gel, but did have toothbrushes and toothpaste, which is less common.

Very Good
Location of the hotel is good - easy walking distance to cathedral and sagrada familia. Room was adequate - a bit tight for room but the bathroom was nice and the shower had good pressure.
The bathroom window wouldn’t close fully and the staff while polite were quite stand-offish.

The rooms are clean and spacefull. The location is very good.
The room was facing the street and there was noise during tbe night. Rooms facing interior yard may be quiet and peaceful.

The bellman was there to assist with our luggage as soon as our taxi pulled up. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Building is very well maintained and rooms are small but comfortable. Perfect location to wander the Gothic Quarter.

Wonderful
Fantastic, convenient location in the Gothic district.
Unfortunately our balcony room was noisy (even with earplugs) on Friday night, but it was before a holiday so we expected it to be busier. We had just hoped ear plugs would have looked after it.
