The layout and comfort of the room. Plenty spacious, had all the items we needed in the room. Beautiful private outdoor verandah.

First of all the location of the hotel is very good is is located near the Plaza de Catalunya near the shopping area and restaurants. Opposite the hotel there is a taxi station and 2 minutes away is the metro.
Everything was good and I would stay again. The only think I really dislike was that we were a family of 5 and the one room was away from the other room although I have requested on booking.com for a family room.

Location was great - not too busy right out the door but very close to gothic quarter. The room we had was very spacious and a great view.
The lift was quite slow and busy so did take some time to come, but was necessary on the 5th floor.

Omg the location is super perfect close to larambla and catalunya, the staff were beyond helpful and friendly, wanna thank Laura for his kindness and her beautiful smile, we loved everything about the hotel and we are 100% going there again!

The location in general
I stayed at this hotel as part of a group booking where each guest had their own room reservation. Before arrival, I paid extra specifically for a room with a balcony, while the other members of my group booked standard rooms. What was frustrating was that several guests who booked standard rooms were upgraded to noticeably larger rooms, while I was not upgraded despite paying more. In fact, my room was smaller than the rooms allocated to other members of my group who had paid less. I raised this concern with the front desk, expecting at least an explanation. Instead, I was told that my room was the biggest room in the hotel, which was clearly not the case based on the rooms occupied by others in my group. Rather than addressing the issue, the response felt dismissive and unhelpful. The room itself was fine and the balcony was nice, but the overall experience left me feeling that paying extra provided little benefit. Seeing guests who paid less receive larger accommodations, combined with the way my concern was handled by staff, left a disappointing impression. I have another trip planned next year, but based on this experience, I would not book this hotel again.
