I like how clean and well-maintained the room is. The receptionist named Bram was so welcoming and helpful. They also even provide midnight snacks and coffee. It is such a great idea to have a tap for drinking water ( icy and normal ) in the common area every floor.

We are a couple traveling heavy, with many bags. The king suite was very spacious, with enough room for us both to use our laptops and work remotely. The bathroom was a little limited in surfaces, but decent. The breakfast was very good, and the laundry service is same day, which was awesome. There are 2 supermarkets just across the street, open 24 hours a day, and the location near Placa de Catalunya is just excellent.
The room needs updating; the floors were creaking.

The bathroom smells bad a bit, lighting in the room is not enough, it’s too dark, also the hall is too dark.

Clean, excellent location, great concierge service, great breakfast staff.
We made the reservation for 2 single beds in one room as I was traveling with my 92 yr old dad. The front desk mgr provided us with one double bed saying she didn’t have any alternative. Initially told us to either take it or go find another hotel but loose the first night fee stay. After several pleads and even a request to upgrade the room to at least a king bed for the 1st night, finally and after a very uncomfortable exchange she gave us a room with 2 single beds… I guess she had one.

The hotel is boutique, good design, welcoming and in the best place in the city. We loved everything. The staff helped us with any issue we had, and everything was amazing. Also, the breakfast is great.

The only thing is the narrow walls of rooms that wont prevent sounds and door banging sounds from other rooms because of the heavy and strong mechanical cleng. Its better to oil up the doors and loosen some of the string

We booked this room at literally the very last minute when I discovered that the hotel we thought we'd reserved through Booking was scheduled for 2026. I was grateful to find a room in this part of the city.
Hotel Regina seems to be part of a boutique chain or small group, and it's in a central location just out of the crush of tourists. We easily walked everywhere, but the metro station is 1 short block away. Our room was modern, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small, but big enough with a roomy shower, and we had all the in-room amenities we needed (Nespresso coffee maker, blow dryer, clothes steamer, free, reliable wi-fi). The hotel also provides a filtered water station in the hall outside the room, with a refillable glass bottle to use during your stay, since the tap water isn't great. That was a welcome addition.
The lounge in the lobby area was bright and comfortable. They served nice wine and drinks, and tapas were available from the next door bar for those who might want to eat in. The food from there was delicious.
We had an interior room for a four day stay with zero natural light. There was a window that was "lit" behind a curtain but the lighting was exactly the same day and night (it was like staying in the Severance office). The room across from ours had bright sunlight, as it faced the street. Our walls were very thin. We found out late our second night that the head of our bed shared a wall with the next room's bathroom. A family of adults was staying there and we could hear everything they were saying and doing, including the toilet paper rolling on the holder and the toilet flushing. TMI, IMO.
The daytime concierge and the doorman were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but the people at the front desk were less so (we were told by one person they didn't know where we were on the map because she didn't use paper maps.) Barcelona is not an inexpensive city, but I did feel we overpaid for the particular room we got, which is why my rating is lower than it might be if we were in a different room.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and we immediately noticed how clean, modern, and well-maintained the property was. Also is in the center of Barcelona a perfect location which is close to everything.

Staff was very professional and welcoming. Beautiful hotel, location can’t be beat. Taxi stop right in front of hotel, which was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and bathroom was very good size. Breakfast was great! I would stay here again!
