The location is perfect, walkable distance from Sagrada Família, Casa Mila, Citadella park, Arc de Triumph and many more attractions. The bus stop to park Güell is very close also. The hotel is new and near it there is a variety of restaurants

Loved the free beer tasting and the amazing breakfasts with views on the rooftop.
Bed was comfortable, staff were amazing, location is close to the ocean port and the Gothic quarter
Problem with the toilet on two occasions.

Location of the hotel is wonderful. The room was cleaned daily. Hotel restaurant is located on top floor with the beautiful view. Personnel was very friendly.
Floor looks like dirty but most likely it was clean but surface need to be renovated. The room size is quite small, but it fit for purpose.

Good location, clean room, decent amount of space, big comfy bed, good front desk service, lockers available downstairs for storing luggage. Some reviews complained about privacy but the toilet is separate from the rest of the bathroom, and the mirror that hangs over the sink slides across to become a ‘wall’ for the shower if you want total privacy - quite clever use of space.
There is some noise from the hallway, the door isn’t very thick, to keep noise out. The bed was tucked against the bathroom partition so can only get in/out of bed on one side. I was in my own so it was fine, but may be trickier for a couple.

We had a great stay at Hotel Rec Barcelona. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The service was warm, helpful and always welcoming. The rooms were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay.
The location is honestly one of the best parts of this hotel – very central and convenient, with easy walking access to many attractions, restaurants, cafes and public transport. It made exploring the city very easy and enjoyable.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.
