My husband and I stayed at the Pulitzer for ten days in Spring 2024 on our first trip to Barcelona. We loved this beautifully restored hotel so much we opted to stay three days on our way home to SFO from a long Paris/Marrakesh holiday - great call! As before, the staff of the Pulitzer literally coddle you with kindness, efficiency and lovely unexpected treats. A shout-out as always to Wendy at the front desk! The location is central to Barcelona and while adjacent to the Place de Catalunya, sits on a side street surrounded by other hotels and small cafes. Having already visited some must-see sights last year, we were content to recharge our travel batteries wandering the Bari Gotic and revisiting some favorite restaurants including Bar Mut, Bar Canete, la Vinateria del Call and Four Gats- all easily walkable from the Pulitzer. We look forward to our next visit to Barcelona and the Pulitzer hotel - thank you!

Great rooms and bar area in an awesome location. Staff in the bar were really nice and friendly.
The lady that checked us in was a bit abrasive about our attempt to speak Spanish with her.

There was not a sign outside to show the hotel, just the name at the entrance door, I made a picture of the hotel area and I had to made another with soom to signal the hotel name.

The hotel interior was beautiful - much more elegant than the photos made it look. And lunch in their Greenhouse restaurant was excellent. The location was easy walking access to many major attractions, and felt very safe.
It was a bit noisy. The street was loud - hard to avoid when you're in the center of a busy area - and I heard the neighboring guests coming and going as well as housekeeping. This was not at all serious, a very minor inconvenience in an overall excellent stay.

I loved the location and the overall style of the hotel, it really matched the vibe of the city.
The main issue was the noise. The rooms aren’t soundproof at all you can hear conversations, music and doors from nearby rooms at all times and it’s even worse at night which makes it hard to sleep, I also had a very negative experience with one of the front desk staff, where I felt a sense of disrespect and even discrimination. However, the situation was completely resolved thanks to the amazing employees Sandro and Juan. They upgraded me from a standard room to a room with a balcony and took great care of me throughout my stay.

we could hear doors open and close, breakfast buffet was good, but not great. Paolito and the bar was great. He was very attentive and definitely made out stay at the restaurant great.
Staff weren't as friendly as you would expect for a hotel of this class. Person at the door looked more like bouncers, no smiles and very limited English
