Great location near old part of the city and the Barceloneta beach, also right next to Barceloneta metro station and bus stop.
The value for money wasn’t there. Too expensive for what I got.
Extremely small room with a window directly overlooking the adjacent wall.
In all the photos and room descriptions (my room that I booked as well), all the rooms have a desk.
However, my room didn't have a desk at all where I could sit and eat dinner or work on the computer. When I asked to be moved to a room that was supposed to have a desk, I was refused. I was told they had very few rooms with desks, and the photos didn't match reality. I was asked to work on my computer at a table in the lobby! So, I had to sit on the bed since there was no desk in my room.
Furthermore, in the room descriptions, they indicate a kettle and a tea/coffee maker. However, they only provide tea and coffee, as well as water, on the first day of your arrival. This is the first hotel in my travel history that doesn't replenish the tea and coffee in the room every day, as all self-respecting hotels do.
Additionally, please note that the amount you paid on Booking.com when booking your room is not the final payment, as you will be required to pay an additional tax directly to the hotel upon check-in for each day of your stay.

I liked the location.
I could not stay in my room, I stayed in the lobby all night. There were cockroaches in my room and the hotel was fully booked so I could not switch rooms. I had to pack up all my stuff and just sit in the lobby all night so I payed for a room I did not even stay in.

There are a lot of things near by. Restaurants, shops, coffee shops. It is easy to get to.

Gorgeous rooftop, rooms were clean and comfortable. Could not have been a more ideal location, right by the metro, 10 minutes to the beach and steps away from food and fun in the El Born neighborhood.

The location is awesome and very easy to find. It’s so close to the beach and great tapas bars. The staff were kind and very helpful. The breakfast was more than sufficient, the room was functional, and having both a TV and air conditioning was a big plus.
We just wanted to share a few small points for improvement: the bath towel was missing from the room, and we had to remind twice to get it. The back of the bathroom door could have been cleaner. Also, having a remote control for the air conditioner would be very convenient.

Room was spacious, and even had AC (which is tough to find in Europe sometimes). The beds weren't the most comfortable (got a double bed, but was two twins put together).
We had a fabolous balcony which we often used, and the room quite spacious.
Amazing terrace with restaurant/pool/bar which we used almost every day, ad the staff we very nice.
Close location to the beach and core area, would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Barcelona

Very well located to walk to El Born and Gothic Quarters, as well as the beach. Rooftop pool and bar was a great atmosphere to grab a drink before going out.
Only thing is the mattress was too firm for our liking.

We were a bit worried since this is technically a 2 star hotel - bit it’s much much better than 2 stars. Rooftop pool was great. Location fantastic between the beach and the gothic quarter, a short walk to most places you want to go. Room was clean, modern and recently updated. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Room was a bit small, but very adequate.
