Amazing location, don’t pay for the breakfast, the coffee place in the lobby is your best choice.
I do like the property a lot, nice staff, I think the shower should be in a better condition and more clean.

Great location near old part of the city and the Barceloneta beach, also right next to Barceloneta metro station and bus stop.
The value for money wasn’t there. Too expensive for what I got.
Extremely small room with a window directly overlooking the adjacent wall.
In all the photos and room descriptions (my room that I booked as well), all the rooms have a desk.
However, my room didn't have a desk at all where I could sit and eat dinner or work on the computer. When I asked to be moved to a room that was supposed to have a desk, I was refused. I was told they had very few rooms with desks, and the photos didn't match reality. I was asked to work on my computer at a table in the lobby! So, I had to sit on the bed since there was no desk in my room.
Furthermore, in the room descriptions, they indicate a kettle and a tea/coffee maker. However, they only provide tea and coffee, as well as water, on the first day of your arrival. This is the first hotel in my travel history that doesn't replenish the tea and coffee in the room every day, as all self-respecting hotels do.
Additionally, please note that the amount you paid on Booking.com when booking your room is not the final payment, as you will be required to pay an additional tax directly to the hotel upon check-in for each day of your stay.

I liked the location.
I could not stay in my room, I stayed in the lobby all night. There were cockroaches in my room and the hotel was fully booked so I could not switch rooms. I had to pack up all my stuff and just sit in the lobby all night so I payed for a room I did not even stay in.

Gorgeous rooftop, rooms were clean and comfortable. Could not have been a more ideal location, right by the metro, 10 minutes to the beach and steps away from food and fun in the El Born neighborhood.
