Pleasant
Room was very small. Lots of noise could be heard thru the walls. Breakfast was very basic. Only coffee was thru a machine, tasteless.

Breakfast ran out early..no supplemental food. Coffee only available until 10am. Rooms were not cleaned and ready until after 2pm w requests for Daily housekeeping. Rooms were warm with no single room air-conditioning....
Rooms were warm. Opening windows left street noise and cigarette smoke fumes. Breakfast strict from 8-10. Only cabs can drop you off at front door. Long walk w luggage to hotel w Uber or driver cars.

The property is located in a great location.
For some reason there was street noise at night until 12:30am. The funny thing is our room was not located above a street. So maybe the noise travelled? The hotel in my opinion needs a few minor upgrades to maintain their 3 star status. Namely mattresses and small repairs in the bathroom.

Did not like the property
I received numerous messages on booking.com that my credit card was invalid and if I did not update my card in 12 hours they would cancel my reservation. I responded to all the messages and they did not answer. I finally had a gentleman call from the hotel in Madrid and he told me they had been hacked and that I should wait for another message from booking. It never came. I had to call them myself and spoke to a clerk who was not very responsive. When we finally arrived they had no idea of the problem. The hotel is really lacking in service. No way to make tea in the room or anywhere in the hotel. The towel bar fell off, the bidet leaked water all over the floor and the electrical socket between the beds had loose exposed wires. The maids took towels out of the room and did not provide new towels until 5 hours later. We had 7 other bookings on booking,com and they all went well. This one did not.

The location was great, the beds were very comfortable.
Not too friendly or welcoming folks that work there though. I felt like our stay was an inconvenience to them. Won't go back there in October when I return. Wi-Fi is horrible, breakfast said it was included and the front desk person sternly said, No!

Great location near everything. Staff was very helpful especially ordering a taxi for us. We didn't inow it was a festival day and streets were closed! Room was a little small but still comfortable and clean. Glad the elevator was working!

The room is overall clean.
Location: it was situated in a dark, sketchy alley and there are people wandering around the hotel at night and you don’t feel safe. Bed: this has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. The mattress and pillows are ok but the bed frame is not of shape and keeps making squelching sound even with the slightest head spin. Noise: the rooms are not sound-proof at all. At night, you can very clearly hear people talking/walking in the corridor and when other guests use the toilet/shower! Facilities: very old and not working well - the whole hotel needs a complete renovation. Staff: the reception staff at night are not helping or seem to care about guests’ normal inquiries at all. When we were politely asking questions before finishing, he just walked back to his computer. When we paid for water at the vending machine (yes, water is only free for the first night at an average of 200+ Euro hotel) and the water didn’t come out, his attitude was like none of his concern and basically told me to wait for refund (and he’s not sure when refund will be processed). The janitors are indifferent and cold as well. We said hello and the only reply was a very cold “Hi” - you don’t feel welcomed there.
