Incredible location; filled with beautiful turn of the twentieth century decor; friendly staff; great shower
Room was too hot with no opportunity to change temperature; bed was too small; room was a bit small too but we didn’t spend time in room so size of room didn’t bother us so much

The room did not have a windows, so the room felt very dark. There was a door to an elevator shaft which brought some light and also the scent of stale cigarette smoke when we entered our room

Beautiful hotel! Rooms were comfortable and beds were soft and dreamy!
The only complaint that I have is that the shower curtains are very thin cloth, and when you turn the shower on which has great water pressure by the way, it blows the curtains out in the water got all over the floor. They were very helpful in getting us extra towels and helping us clean it up. Just beware that you don’t turn the showerhead on full blast cause the curtains will go out of the bathtub.

Room was fairly spacious. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was good in one respect, that it was very central and only 100 yards from La Rambla.
Shower in the room was a pain. It pointed at the screen and it leaked all over the floor. We had to use all the towels every day just to mop the floor. This was obviously not a new issue as the bottom of the bathroom door was warped and darkened from the water. Needs ripping out and replacing with a shower cubicle. Although the location was generally good, the taxi we prebooked from the airport via Bookings.Com was not allowed to drive down the narrow street in front of the hotel and dropped us off about 400m away. Not great at 8pm with some very dodgy looking people sleeping rough in the doorways. We booked a "room with a view" - well we could see outside, but I wouldn't call it a view.

Location is very central. The room was very spacious and comfortable
The 'free' wifi was a disaster. If you going to offer something then make sure it works. Saying that it is free does not justify bad quality. I had mentioned in correspondence before I arrived that I required 'GOOD QUALITY' wifi as I needed to work and no mention was made of a 'better' paid service as an option nor when I complained to reception.
Thankfully the restaurant next door had a fantastic service and they were extremely accommodating in allowing me to work.

The beautiful decor and location
The room was too warm with no way to turn down the heat. The thermostat seemed to not work. There were instant coffee singles in the room but no coffee mugs. You had to pay for coffee downstairs. The walls were very thin. You can hear everything in the halls. TV had no selection of channels.

Perfect location, really comfortable beds and pillows. Nice balcony. Great interior. Really clean room and bathroom.
Perhaps the only downside of the room is the very poor sound insulation. You can hear all the sounds from the neighboring rooms and every step of those upstairs.

Fantastic location in the Gothic district with its lovely small streets (and close to La Rambla). The were able to store our luggage safely since we got there early. We loved our room with the balconies looking out on the street.

Location was perfect! Very easy to get to all areas of interest in Barcelona and wonderful to take pictures of the cathedral in the early morning light.
I would love for the property to have a fitness facility but I knew they didn't have one when I booked it and to me the location and convenience more than made up for it!

Loved the location and the comfy bed.
We had housekeeping walk in on us multiple times. They knocked and immediately entered- it was very strange. Also the water pressure in the showers was horrible. Made it difficult to shower.
