The location is excellent near to public transport but in the heart of the old city. The staff were all kind and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic and the food delicious modern takes on Tapas.

Breakfast was good quality with a reasonable variety. The location was great with lots of attractions ( rambla, marina etc) a few minutes away on foot.
We did not like the coffee. Both in the breakfast and in the room the coffee was really weak and I think this something that can be easily fixed. I also thought that the lighting in the breakfast area was really poor.

Upgraded room was a super bonus. Staff were excellent across the board. Restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our visit. The roof terrace was a great place to relax.

The staff is very friendly, and the design is simple yet charming.
1. Taxis do not come directly to the hotel, and if you plan to take a taxi during the day, you will need to cross a fairly busy square on foot. 2. The rooms are quite small, and as a result, there was not enough space for two suitcases. 3. Water in the shower flows simultaneously from both showerheads (the overhead rain shower and the regular handheld one), and it cannot be adjusted. 4. Breakfasts: In the morning, if you happen to arrive at breakfast at the same time as many others, be prepared for a long wait, and some items on your breakfast order may be mixed up or not brought at all.

The building exuded a unique atmosphere, and our room offered a magical view of the square by the church. The bathroom had a cozy ambiance. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly. Staying at this hotel truly enhanced our visit to Barcelona.
However, breakfast was disappointing. While the food was tasty, it didn't meet our expectations for a five-star establishment. Even a limited open buffet accompanied by an à la carte menu would have been preferable to the fixed starter with a limited à la carte selection provided to each guest.

The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing Barcelona - right in the centre, so not far to walk to the main tourist hotspots, but down a quiet, narrow lane, so never felt busy. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive.
There really wasn't much that could be improved - a proper teaspoon in the bedroom rather than a little wooden stirring stick, but that is probably the only tiny detail that could be changed!
