Very Poor
Beautiful location of the hotel.
We booked this hotel specifically because it clearly stated on Booking.com that pets are allowed. Upon arrival, however, we were refused entry with our dog without any valid or consistent explanation, leaving us stranded without accommodation.
To make matters even worse, the hotel changed its pet policy just one day after our reservation and then refused to honor the conditions that were clearly in place at the time of booking. This is misleading and completely unacceptable.
What was particularly shocking was that the receptionist subjectively assessed the weight of our dog on the spot and used this as a reason to deny us entry. This kind of arbitrary and unprofessional behavior is simply outrageous.
This is the first time in my life I have experienced such treatment. It demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, reliability, and respect for guests.
I strongly advise anyone — especially those traveling with pets — to avoid this hotel. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend it under any circumstances. tłunacz

Rooms with Sea view are definitely worth it, stunning views. Hotel is very stylish and relaxed at the same time. Very nicely blended together with the public park. Spa and other facilities are beautiful.
For a 5-star I would have expected more special service, we were offered drinks at the arrival but this is pretty much where it ended. Staff are not particularly looking to make their guests feel special.
Spa is 45 EUR per person, also surprising.
Sat night there was a party at the terraza miramar (right next to the hotel) and the sea-view rooms could hear everything, until 00.00 - so If're you're not keen on joining the party (like we did) it may be a pain!

Our stay at Hotel Miramar Barcelona was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Any minor issue we encountered was handled immediately and with great care, which really shows the level of professionalism and attention to detail.
A special thank you to the entire staff — every employee deserves 5 stars for their friendliness, efficiency, and dedication. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers a truly relaxing and high-quality experience.
We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!

Beautiful location with stunning views of Barcelona. The property itself is architecturally impressive.
Several issues ruined what was supposed to be a special luxury experience. First, at check-in my wife was immediately asked for a deposit with no prior warning — a simple message beforehand would have avoided this awkward first impression. Second, loud construction started early morning on the terrace directly above her room, completely destroying any sense of peace and quiet. And third — for over $1,000 a night, the room didn’t even have a bathtub. That’s a basic expectation at this price level. Overall, very poor communication and a room that doesn’t justify the premium rate.

Friendly place, perfect for our purposes (business meetings), located on a quiet place upon a hill, no city noise. Not too far from the the city center, quite an uphill walk though, a taxi is recommended.

We got the premium suite w/ the balcony overlooking the sea and the park behind the building. It was beautiful! The room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the bathtub. The property was very pretty, w/ a garden like setting by the pool, and the dining amenities were lovely.
The location isn't the best for walking around town. I would most likely taxi into the areas to explore. It was convenient to get to the airport from this location though. The room was lovely, but there were minor flaws or natural wear and tear that were noticeable but not a deal breaker.

Toilet flush is broken, air-con is loud, pool bar staff guy is grumpy, naked homeless woman trespassed in the pool and ruined the vibe, front desk NEVER picked up the phone…
