The great win of this hotel was the location - a short distance to La rambla and a number of metro lines. The room was a decent size and really good breakfast. The staff were also friendly and helpful and made some good restaurant suggestions.
Only comment I would make is that we found the bed rather hard.

I booked this hotel as a gift for good friends of mine as a gift. I have stayed here many times and I wanted them to have the best experience for their first stay in Barcelona. It came as no surprise to me that their feedback on their stay was that this hotel was exceptional and one of the best that they have stayed in. The location as I know is perfect, two minutes from the main square and the top of the Ramblas with the metro very close by.
Their feedback to me on returning from this trip was that that day was truly fantastic. The welcome by reception, and all staff that they came into contact with at the hotel were friendly, professional and courteous and couldn’t do enough to ensure that their stay was perfect. They said the rooftop bar, pool and loungers were welcome after a long day of sightseeing. They said they really felt as if they were at home. The room was large and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and quiet. The bathroom and shower were also top-notch. They really didn’t want to leave. They also mentioned that the breakfast was fantastic with a great range of hot and cold options and pastries. They have said that they will now also recommend this hotel to anyone they know that is visiting Barcelona.
I would like to say to the hotel, thank you so much for looking after my friends and I was excited to hear their feedback as I knew how exceptional your hotel is. Thank you also to all the staff who made them feel extremely welcome. I personally look forward to staying with you again ..
