Shower was too small, weak water flow, in one of the rooms the toilet door couldn't be locked the sink was cracked and the door frame was broken

I have stayed at the Jazz Hotel many times over the years and Front Desk always does its best to provide me with an early check-in; arriving from Canada early in the morning, this is very much appreciated. The hotel is always spotless and the central location makes getting around the city very easy. Above all, the staff is great: knowledgable and welcoming, they are always helpful.

Location is great, aerobus stop is just a couple mins walk away. The family room was very spacious with an extra sofa bed which was a queen size, and they accommodated a cot for our baby as well.
We had an excellent check-in experience. The front desk went the extra mile to check if we could get our room before official check in time (and we did), knowing it would be a huge convenience for us as we just got off a long flight with our baby. During our stay, housekeeping accidentally kept our baby's towel along with the hotel's towel. After we told the hotel staff, they did their best to check with their laundry service and eventually found the towel for us.
Water temp of the shower was not very consistent and there is no rack for your own toiletries in the shower area.

If the roof top bar was open. I understand it closes on the 1st of October, but the weather was still nice, it would have been nice to enjoy evenings up there with drinks and music.

Hotel Jazz is an excellent Hotel for a trip to Barcelona. It is located in the city centre, close to the subway station Universidad. It is a very beautiful and safe location that offers everything for a great stay. I often stayed here for business trips, and it was always a great experience. The rooms are very comfortable, and it is quiet enough to sleep well in this city that almost never sleeps. The staff is always very friendly, and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
