Staff was polite and willing to help with recommendations. Location is also great, close to La Rambla and main touristic points. Plenty of options to dine closeby.
Not much. Felt that it was a bit expensive for what we got, but nothing outrageous. It was fine.

I asked to be in a room away from the subway noise, and they gave me a room at the other end of the hotel that was higher and much quieter - a bonus is the street it opened on was quieter also. I missed the rooftop bar - they close both the rooftop bar and the regular bar Oct 1 as the season winds down. When I arrived, they had left a small bottle of Cava and glasses. I was late, so the ice in the bucket had melted, but it was a nice touch. The window end over the street has a glass door that opens, but when shut, it cuts the street noise.
Their breakfast is good, but really expensive. Their room coffee setup uses instant coffee - not the best.

The location was excellent. Also, unlike many of the other hotels that we stayed in Spain, Hotel Jazz provided drinking water.
As a senior citizen, I found the lack of guard rails in the bathrooms very disconcerting. This is all the more dangerous as you do not have a separate shower stall and one is expected to shower in the tub.

Bed bugs no internet couldn’t use elevator with no internet had to go to front desk every time to use it card to room worked half the time door to out side was broken manager was a complete idiot

Breakfast was not included and was not worth what they charged BUT they gave 2 free drinks at the rooftop bar - that bar is terrific. The two women working there made my day every day - they looked for me, asked abt what I did, offered suggestions - like a family. Nesi and Mari (Sp?) really made me as a solo traveler feel included and wanted - they commented if I was late or not there and we talked abt just abt anything. Two more welcoming people would be hard to beat - great employees.
Sadly, the hotel shakes every time the metro runs under it - only negative but one I could live with - am going back in a few weeks to stay there again.

The hotel is within walking distance of major attractions in Barcelona, such as La Rambla, the beach, museums, the aquarium, shopping areas, and restaurants. The subway and bus stations are also just a few minutes away on foot.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend booking breakfast with your stay—you get a discounted rate, and it's worth it!
I especially loved that the room had a high-quality stereo system, even in the shower. The ambiance in the room was amazing, thanks to the integrated audio system.

Location is walking distance to metros and gothic quarter/barceloneta. Water available, elevator and pool with a bar was a plus to cool down after walking around all day.
Couch chair in room needs an upgrade.
