We liked breakfast and room. It supported our needs as a family of four. It was very clean and staff was far better than adequate, especially front office.
I did not like that i had expressed we would like an early check in due to a family of 4 travelling like for 7 hours. Our room was given to us 40 minutes after official check in hour (15:40). Also we left something behind and we asked hotel specifically to send it to us with guest (us) charge, but they did not comply with our request and send also one bottle of saline we had left behind on purpose, which opened during transport and ruined all staff that we asked hotel to send us with a big cost for us. Also, we did not like that in our room electrical supply panel was behind a wooden panel which was open.

The stuff was great and helpful, rooftop was a nice place to spend time at.
Bed was very small for two people: short and narrow, seems like smaller than standard 160x200 cm size, which is quite a discomfort for two people to sleep.

1) price has increased over 100%
2) breakfast in Madrid was more varied and 1/3 the price vs Barcelona
3) bathtub wouldn’t drain, called about it. No one liked it so I put a fork into the plug to lift it so the tub would drain. Minor problem but for the expense I expected the problem to be fixed

Decent 4-star hotel. The price was expensive for what you get, but I guess that's what you get for Barcelona. Staff was very friendly, spoke English well. Room was good, slightly small, but clean and the inside amenities were quite up to date. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
Nothing except the price. For the price, I would have expected more in general, but I understand this was in the heart of Barcelona, so seemed in line with other comparable hotels in the area.

Lovely hotel, architectural style of hotel was awesome. Exposed brink with modern finishes. Roof top bar was awesome with tasty food to enjoy. Gym was decent as well as the pool. Perfect location one block from La Rambla. Still close to sights and shopping but not heavy tourist area.

Location was great, the room was not huge but very well organized and designed that it was perfect for us, shower water pressure was good, AC worked well once we figured it out! We got food and drinks on the roof and all was delicious! I would suggest they add a mocktail or two to the drink menu as my daughter was disappointed they didn't have anything fun she could have. The pool is TINY and we only put our feet in after a long day of walking but it's a lovely little rooftop that was never overly crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
The lights were a bit complicated...I plunged my daughter into darkness in the bathroom more than once when trying to turn off lights in the room. While everything is modern and updated more or less, it would be nice for the TV to be upgraded so that one can stream or mirror from devices as it was useless to us as it was. (But that's a small complaint!)

I recently stayed at Hotel Granados 83 in Barcelona and had an amazing experience. Before traveling to Spain, I had heard many stories about safety concerns, especially regarding luggage theft in hotel lobbies. However, staying at Granados 83, I felt as safe as at home. They always have staff present in the lobby who are attentive and helpful, including assisting with luggage — a level of service that really sets this hotel apart.
The staff are friendly, professional, and multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and French. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. I especially loved the breakfast — it was truly five-star, both in terms of service and taste.
The location is excellent. You can walk to Gaudí’s famous buildings, like Casa Milà (La Pedrera), in just within 10 minutes. Great restaurants are only 5–6 minutes away on foot, and there’s a taxi station just 50 feet from the hotel entrance. It’s incredibly convenient for getting around the city.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children. Their family rooms are designed over two floors and include two full bathrooms — perfect after a long day of sightseeing, with no waiting in line for showers!
Hotel Granados 83 truly feels like a gem in Barcelona — safe, welcoming, and perfectly located.
