The location was pleasant and the staff were polite.
There are significant issues with the bathrooms. We have had to change three rooms. The bathroom was without a working fan, a brush and drain pipes. The first room had water from the shower leaking out. The second room, a rooftop bathroom, was leaking from the ceiling due to the rain creating a pool of water inside.

Location was great! Near the Cathedral, very central in the Gothic Quarter, close walking distances to many restaurants and key areas to visit in Barcelona. Desk staff were excellent and very helpful. Easy to get to from the Airport by the shuttle bus with a short walk from the drop off point at Plaza Catalunya. The bed was very comfortable the shower had good pressure and good hot water.
Slight smell in the bathroom due to old drains - to be expected in the very old buildings comprising this area.

Hotel employee along with the rest of the front desk staff, was extremely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I can’t remember the names of the other amazing staff, but everyone was friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect - you can easily explore the most charming districts of Barcelona on foot. The metro is just around the corner, making it super convenient to reach places further away. Breakfast was excellent, I loved the 'medieval Spanish' corner and the choice of cheeses and cold cuts. A big shoutout to the staff as well - everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming.
I was worried it might be noisy at night since the hotel is right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but it was surprisingly quiet! Perhaps it’s because there are no restaurants directly under the windows, or maybe November brings fewer late-night crowds. Either way, I slept really well

We had a balcony room which was lovely. The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast selection
Being English we love a cup of tea. Unfortunately the tea bag’s weren’t very good.

Hotel Gotico has an excellent location right at the heart of the Gotic Center. It is walking distance literally to every place that needs to be seen within a three-day period in Barcelona. The rooms are nice and clean. We even had a nice balcony overlooking the main street. The reception staff are very friendly.
The breakfast is OK. However, the staff especially during breakfast are not friendly at all. Also some of the cakes on the buffet were surprisingly old.
