Great location in old town, staff super friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The room was small but all we needed and very clean and nicely furnished. Also really close to the beach.

Great continental breakfast. Location excellent although beware on street. My wife's necklace was pulled of her neck. It appears this is quite common in this area. Hotel and staff excellent and very helpful. All staff had good English.
Main restaurant was closed. However, understand this was due to renovation work.

Good location in the middle of Ramblas. Manager and staff were very kind to personally hand over a valuable package sent from Sevilla. Breakfast was filling, though it remained the same for the 7 days we stayed there.
Bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. There were nights that there was no hot water in the shower.

It was a beautiful old building with architectural details in the heart of the old city, easy to walk.
Only taxis were allowed on the streets, our tour operator had to walk in and walk us out many blocks.
The breakfasts are too expensive.

The staff and doormen were friendly and centrally located - for good and for bad.
The location is right in the heart of Las Ramblas which means it is a short walk to many sights and markets but it also means it is very busy around there and quite ‘touristy’ during peak seasons. As two young women, we were told on multiple occasions by locals not to walk around this area at night on our own. The room itself is quite small and when we arrived the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The staff arranged a technician to come and fix it which improved it a bit but it was still uncomfortably hot in there, particularly as it was during August.
The pool is tiny and looks more like a water feature than a pool. I would not recommend booking this hotel for the pool.

Fantastic location with really helpful staff. Rooftop bar and pool was a great addition. Good size bedroom, with great room for a couple.
Bathroom shower was extremely slow to drain which did cause a little bit of flooding.

Location was very good. Lobby and hotel decor in public areas was very nice.
The Family Room was tiny, we had no room to even pass each other. It looked totally different from the Family Room shown on Booking.com when I booked, and I certainly would not have paid this much money had I known how small it was. In addition it had only a small window looking out onto a dark gloomy enclosed space, and with the couch bed up against it it was almost impossible to open the curtains. The shower door would not close and created a huge creaking noise when this was attempted. I would have complained immediately except I did not want to cause any upset to my son who would not have been be able to handle any conflict situation. In all my years using Booking.com this was probably the worst value I have come across.
