The location is amazing so central.
I know they are going through a reno so understand looking a bit run down especially pool area. We had a free drink which was nice but needs some love.

It was unexpectedly beautiful and historic inside, with beautiful marble and mosaics from 1900 presented in tandem with more modern architecture.
The only issue for me was access to the area- la rambla was undergoing roadworks and it was challenging for my taxi to find a route to it. A temporary issue only.

The location was amazing. It was value for money considering the very central location we could walk to the beach or we could walk to the centre of Barcelona. The staff were exceptionally polite and unbelievably helpful. They arranged everything we wanted to be done for us. I love the style of the hotel. It’s very chic. It has a good concept.
The corridors are very dark almost black you can hardly see the door numbers. Unfortunately, we had no view out of our room just into a shaft area with skylights - I hadn’t realised that every day I look outside to decide what to wear but if you can’t see outside and you can’t see the sky, you have no idea whether it’s warm cold or raining. It’s a most peculiar feeling. However we understood that it is under renovation and we would recommend this hotel and we would stay there again. We understand that the alterations will allow for each room to have a window with some sort of view to the city. We appreciate that it is a city location, however our room felt very internal.
