The location was great and the hotel definitely had some quirkiness.
The room had a really strong smell and I found myself struggling to breathe at one point. I needed to open the door to the outside patio to l
et some fresh air in.
The buffet wasn't appealing and the food looked like it may have been sitting there a while.
I didn't like the old school dropping off of the room key before leaving the hotel for the day.

We have stayed here a few times now when in Barcelona and the hotel team have always been fantastic even this time when my and my friends details got muddled up , we still all had a good laugh about it when we sorted it out together...(really good human touch).
Big jazz party on the evening which we automatically got an invite to..which was lovely and very enjoyable.
All round super stay, thanks again for helping us with our accommodation needs, and we will look forward to seeing you all once more the next time we are in Barcelona
The evening Bell not working correctly when trying to get back into the hotel at midnight...but we got there inbthe end

Everything from the moment I walked in the setting/furnishings ambience & staff approachable & my room although compact it everything that was needed for my stay!
There isn't anything I could fault.
This is an absolute hidden gem which I have already shared with friend & family & the 24 hour buffet just adds to the experience of delving into luxury!

As we were on a short break to celebrate our anniversary we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a suite.. with bubbly and choccies too! All above and beyond and very much appreciated. The staff were helpful, rooms were amazing and the complimentary buffet an unexpected bonus. Being located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of most of the attractions I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel was quite elegant. The public areas were very well appointed. The 24 hour buffet was great. Shopping, restaurants and sightseeing were extremely convenient to the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

A beautiful building in a great location.
It’s being run cheaply. Uncomfortable bedding, very poor breakfast, very small bedroom, terrible wi-fi. No porter to take luggage up the stairs at the reception. Staff morale low

A great start to our European holiday. We had four rooms ranging from the a more expensive very large and ornate room to two very small rooms and one in between. I'm not sure how different the prices were. The hotel itself was fantastic, a real experience and the buffet was outstanding! Staff were helpful.
No complaints really. As others have noted the extra large keyfob was a nuisance, it would be ideal to upgrade to more modern tech that could also open the front door rather having to buzz reception (who were occasionally absent).

Having to clear away you own breakfast dishes …But the breakfast food is good and the complementary Cava with my orange juice was a great addition
