The staff were very friendly & helpful. The buffet & availability of hot drinks throughout the day was a bonus
The only thing was my bedroom was adjacent to the dining area (room 144 I think) so you could hear the diners in the morning having breakfast. I found it a little strange at first but I soon got used to it and it certainly didn't spoil my stay

This is a gem on La Rambla. Besides being conveniently located just off Placa Catalunya and walkable to Gaudi Casas, the waterfront, museums and restaurants - the hotel staff is simply amazing, taking care of each request with understanding and maturity. It is a well preserved hotel and the set up is itself a pleasant experience. And there is always something to eat, no matter the time! Drinks include a variety of options, hot and cold. On the day it rained this hotel offered umbrellas for us to take all day. I would definitely return to this wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful city of Barcelona. Local taxis are available "round the corner" on Placa Catalunya as are buses while the hotel cheerfully books airport taxis!

Location was perfect but breakfast wished a lot to be desired
The appearance of the reception area looks dirty and unclean. The same goes for breakfast area inside and outside.

Gemma and the young man who assisted her (I forgot his name) were exceptional. Also, I forgot her name, the woman who was at the front desk after 5 pm was of great help in fixing the air conditioning. A special thank you to her.
The food was fresh and very good. Thank you to the woman who was there each day preparing the food.
All were very welcoming to us.
I wish the elevator was larger but all worked out just fine.

Room was very clean and wonderful shower and bathroom. The food bar was an absolute bonus. My family was able to enjoy food and drink on the lovely outside patio area.
Found the opening doors awkward but grateful for added layer of security.

The location was excellent. We walked to the La Rambla Market, the Cathedral, and the Hop on Hop off Bus. Also wandered around the a gothic quarter. We purchased the Hop on Hop Off bus tickets from the hotel receptionist. They had food and drinks available 24 hours a day. Nice patio area to eat and visit. Highly recommend this Hotel

Refreshments and light food available 24hrs. Breakfast was good with great coffee. Excellent location. Great staff
Lack of proper window and view. We had an internal room with a window to air and light vent which was dirty so let the room down a little. Not aware this would have been the case.
