This iconic, Modernist building is located at the head of Barcelona’s chic Passeig de Gracia Avenue. It has a sauna and gym, and a roof terrace with a pool and excellent views. The luxurious Casa Fuster is a monument in itself, built in 1908 by the Modernist architect, Lluis Domènech i Montaner, and has the status of Specialty Monument. His work, including the hotel, is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The elegant air-conditioned rooms at Casa Fuster G.L Monumento feature satellite TV and a mini-bar. There is a private bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers. Some rooms have a hydro-massage bath. The Casa Fuster Hotel has a stylish restaurant, which serves Mediterranean cuisine. Room service is available, and there is a jazz bar and rooftop chill-out bar. There is a concierge service and 24-hour front desk. Wonderful
Beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms and great attention to detail. Staff were all very friendly. Would happily recommend it and stay again.
Suggestion would be to make the rooftop terrace more accessible for guests of the hotel and have more personalised service for guests.

Such a beautiful hotel and a great location. Staff were so friendly.
My room faced a side street with a children's daycare, so each morning was very loud with kids yelling and waking me up. I know the hotel has no control over this, but I will definitely request a room in the other side when I come back to stay there.

Excellent location. Beautiful building. Very accessible from airport.
Had an issue with the key card to my room which meant I was unable to access my room without being accompanied by the concierge using his master key. Asked a number of times for this to be rectified but had to call down to reception a number of times before it was resolved. Staff were lovely but I was frustrated in having to wait in the room awaiting maintenance to call (they didn’t) and then having to repeatedly ask at reception to be allowed into my room was a little embarrassing. Also, when checking out, I noticed that the hold applied to my bank account was higher than the room rate and the €100 extra for “incidentals”. Luckily I noticed this and was able to ask the receptionist (again - she was excellent) to cancel the transaction and refill be for the correct amount (which again is inconvenient as €500 is now temporarily on hold in my bank in addition to the actual cost of the stay). Have to say that staff were lovely and friendly all the way through.

Location is great. Gracia is better than Rambla area. Service is very good: reception is helpful, rooms are clean. Breakfast buffet is extensive and of very good quality. Architecture on the outside is beautiful. Rooftop terrace is very nice (don't expect anything from the pool, it is very, very small).
The rooms are a bit worn-out. Airco not working very well (we visited in May so no issue for us). Unfortunately the breakfast area has no daylight (what were they thinking??) Eight euros for a glass of beer on the rooftop terrace is a bit.... too capitalistic in my honest opinion. Although the terrace is nice(!)

No controlled air conditioning in the rooms just a universal air conditioning for entire building we were told. We sweated in bed and this caused lack of sleep. Extremely loud outside you can hear from the rooms, and we stayed on 5th floor so this also caused lack of sleep. Semi-rude bell guy questioned me walking in as a guest of the hotel, not bad but he was rude.

My stay at Hotel Casa Fuster was truly phenomenal. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional-every staff member, from the front door to housekeeping to the kitchen, made us feel welcomed and cared for. I planned this trip as a surprise birthday for my mom and as a way to create new family memories after a difficult year, and it exceeded every expectation. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the warmth and attention we received brought us even closer. I'm especially grateful to Jenny, Rodolfo, and Melanie for their kindness and attentiveness when my mom wasn't feeling well. I also want to thank Leire, Xavier, Melanie, Jun, and Jose for their hospitality, helpful recommendations, and assistance throughout our trip —they truly made my mom's first experience in Barcelona unforgettable.
