The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern
The window did not fully block out the street noise. The rooftop and its hot tub was closed. As one of the very few spaces in the hotel beyond your room I wish I had been informed of this in advance. There is a cafe and restaurant which operate separately in the building but only a single room reception room remaining open in this whole hotel.

Very friendly staff, we felt right at home. Beautiful spa! The room was lovely too with enormous bed
The coffee at breakfast was a bit burned, we found that the staff at breakfast could have been a little bit more informative about what are the options to order besides the sweet choices at the buffet.

Had a great time at the Casa Bonay in Barcelona. The hotel had a wonderful location walking distance to all the sites in Barcelona. The daily breakfast was awesome and the service was impeccable.

Poor
I liked the design idea behind this hotel but it was a budget version of what could have been. Nice touch with balcony and well isolated. Overall clean and they got us the iron quite fast after the request.
I was very disappointed with food at the breakfast. I chose this hotel because It’s mentioned that they had vegan options but the options are veeery poor and generally badly prepared with unfresh greens, zero vegetables and I even found mold in berries. I pointed out that there is mold to the lady who worked there and she looked at me as if I offended her family. I mean come on, i understand that Barcelona is touristy and some people are tired of tourists but you shouldn’t work in hospitality if you’re so annoyed with guests. When i requested more options for breakfast at the reception they told me that they’re not working with restaurant and there’s enough options(enough options being two sandwiches and chia pudding). But come on you can ask the restaurant about improving their options. The room was very small, even if I picked a bigger room. There was nowhere to sit apart from balcony, which is just showing how cheap it was. Overall I don’t understand how this place was rated so highly. The terrace was closed and they gave us coupon for free drinks at the terrace bar

Everything. It had such a nice feel to it. The main bar area where we also had breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful, bikes to use. Everything was thought of.
Nothing really. We didn't realise the room we booked was on a major road so the noise at night was a bit loud at times (our fault though for not checking).
