Hotel Brummell is a 20-room boutique hotel located a few steps from the Miró Foundation and The Grec theater. Guests will benefit from free and unlimited yoga classes. A running club, for both guests and locals, is organized regularly. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a garden and a sauna. T-training and boxing session are hosted at the well-being center The Loft. All rooms boast modern furniture and artwork by young European designers. Hotel Brummell is just a 15-minute walk from La Rambla and the closest metro station is Parallel Metro Station, 820 ft away. The Hotel and its facilities were great. The breakfast was really good.
Unfortunately the breakfast only was available from 8 and there was no option to prepone it, not ideal for business stays.

Everything was amazing, from the wonderful staff to delicious breakfast to the beautiful room. It is a little more expensive than were used to, but after visiting its clear that you get what you pay for and we would absolutely visit again!
If I was really trying to be picky the pillows were a bit soft for me, but that is just a preference and nothing to do with the quality of hotel Brummell

Amazing hotel, great location within walking distance to many places & metro access is super good as well. Sauna, café bar, yoga lessons...super friendly and kind staff... I loved everything about this hotel.

Breakfast was fresh, tasty, prepared to order and there was variety. Good vegan options. The staff were sooooo friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave us loads of tips and recommendations, joked and laughed with us, checked we had everything we needed all throughout the stay and were so accommodating. They spoke both English and Spanish with us, and their English is excellent. Room was great - comfortable, had all the amenities we needed (hot drinks tray, water in the fridge, toiletries, slippers etc) and we were aware that there were facilities/amenities on offer that we didn’t use because we were only there one night (run club, yoga classes, sauna, pool, massage). We will be back :)

Loved the room with sofa that meant I could relax in room in evening without sitting on bed. A real treat for solo travelling. Staff were all incredibly friendly - makes a big difference when travelling solo when someone asks what you have done that day or what your plans are Loved the daily suggestions and the really helpful map/ recommendations. I would add the Palo Alto Market on first weekend of the month - it had a fantastic vibe and I think would be well aligned with hotel guest preferences.
Felt a little bit vulnerable walking back alone from metro late at night (11pm) after a concert. Took a taxi following evening which was fine. No problem walking from hotel during day. Not many nearby options for eating solo in the evening -it wasn't entirely clear from the hotel listings that there were no meal options in the hotel in the evening - although appreciated the snack options.

The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the main areas, Close to Metro. Area is safe to walk and the view of the park was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were helpful and willing to answer questions, provide recommendations etc. I liked that the property was small, not a huge chain hotel. They even provide a today mat in the room. I had a room with a Mountain View, worth the extra cost.
