LOVED Hotel Brummell!! The staff was OUTSTANDING! Everyone we encountered was very friendly, helpful and gave us the inside scoop on local cuisine, cool neighborhoods to go to, best times to go places, etc. The hotel has a cool, earthy, relaxed vibe with a sauna, pool and cafe and an adorable atrium-like place to sit and sip on coffee (with heaters and blankets). The location was also great! We loved the Poble-Sec area as it wasn't too touristy and it was close to so many cool neighborhoods, restaurants and shopping. Hot tip: get the Hotel Brummell map! It's curated by the staff and we used it exclusively for food and entertainment!

I love the fact they let me take a shower before the check in, I really needed that
Also their cookies were spectacular, I would come back to Barcelona only to eat them again! Everything was clean and fancy

Our bathroom resembled a hospital especially the shower curtain. I assume it was for wheelchair access but we weren’t aware of that.
A bit noisy in the morning on the road side.

Super friendly staff, an exceptional room with lovely details, and a very easily accessible sauna and pool. Breakfast is served on an étagère and is also available with a vegan option. There’s a buffet of snacks available at all times, a stylish hotel shop with a great selection, and — very handy — pre-selected recommendations for restaurants, food, and places to explore around the hotel and the whole town, curated the way locals would do it. So you end up dining at truly awesome insider spots.
And last but not least: it’s a wonderfully down-to-earth hotel with a super lovely staff.
