Hotel Brummell is a 20-room boutique hotel located a few steps from the Miró Foundation and The Grec theater. Guests will benefit from free and unlimited yoga classes. A running club, for both guests and locals, is organized regularly. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a garden and a sauna. T-training and boxing session are hosted at the well-being center The Loft. All rooms boast modern furniture and artwork by young European designers. Each one is equipped with a safe, coffee and tea facilities and a yoga mat. The private bathroom has a rain shower, a high-powered hairdryer and free toiletries by MMLL. Suites have a private, furnished terrace with an outdoor bath. Mornings begin at Austrian-inspired Café Schallert, our in-house cafe with soul. Enjoy a breakfast buffet served at your table featuring an array of freshly-baked breads and croissants, Mediterranean delicacies such as cheeses and cold cuts and eggs cooked to order. Vegan-friendly and gluten-free options are also available, alongside specialty coffee from Three Marks Coffee. Hotel Brummell is just a 15-minute walk from La Rambla and the closest metro station is Parallel Metro Station, 820 ft away. I rarely write reviews on Booking, but this place deserves one. It is the combination of genuinely warm, natural hospitality and very intelligent architecture. The staff are among the friendliest I have ever encountered in a hotel: relaxed, authentic, efficient and lovely. You get the feeling that the owners must be cool people that chose the staff they appreciate. Architecturally, the hotel is very special. It feels contemporary and distinctive, yet completely at home in Poble Sec. From the terrace, you are right in the middle of the surrounding residential buildings, but somehow it never feels intrusive. The proportions are just right, and the building seems to belong there, in dialogue with the neighborhood. A success. The terrace and small pool are a real pleasure, the rooms are spacious and peaceful, with pleasant open views, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Most of all, the hotel has atmosphere. It feels stylish without being artificial, local without trying too hard, and genuinely human. You feel good. Definitely my go-to hotel in Barcelona.

I felt like I was in someone’s home not a hotel. It was so clean and comfortable. The toiletries that they make and supply in the rooms is enchanting. The cafe has the smoothest mostly delectable coffee. It also has the most tart and flavorful lemonade, picture below of my son and I enjoying it! All of the staff made me feel like they were happy to have me stay. This will be my exclusive go to upon my return.
The elevator was broken for a short time and I had to exit the steps which were outside. If you are afraid of heights it is disconcerting.

Hotel Brummell is a tastefully designed hotel, it has a chic lobby with a lovely cafe serving a delicious full breakfast. The rooftop is gorgeous, has a small pool and chairs and many seating areas full of plant life. The staff at this hotel are very kind and are available for all requests and information sharing. I really like the details like the yellow and white towels by the pool, the honesty bar that has perfect snacks for a late night treat, the free half day bike rental, the Austrian pastries at the cafe, and the location is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!

Quiet, great neighborhood bars/restaurants near by, Montjuic very close to hike to.
It seemed overpriced for very small room, no breakfast or coffee included, the atmosphere was clean but not necessarily aesthetically appealing but that is subjective!
