We had a great stay at Hotel Brummell. It has a great vibe and we loved the location in the fun Poble Sec neighborhood, right at the base of Mont Juic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the great map of the city with recommendations on local restaurants, bars, and shops.

The Hotel and its facilities were great. The breakfast was really good.
Unfortunately the breakfast only was available from 8 and there was no option to prepone it, not ideal for business stays.

Very personable staff, has a vibe that is welcoming and thoughtful to all visitors. Very comfortable bed and quiet location. Location right at the base of Mount Juic. Staff provided map and recommendations for eating and parking.

The location was very central, metro station was only a short walk away. The staff were super helpful as they explained everything to us and were always there when we needed anything.
The price was a bit expensive for what the hotel offered, but it’s understandable considering it was during Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Overall, we had a satisfying experience.

The room we got was very spacious, with a huge bed, two balconies facing the park (great natural light!), good shower and a sofa. We also used the sauna which was very pleasant (didn’t go in the pool because it was November but it looked very pretty, although small). The staff is friendly, but the check in process seemed to last forever (how many times do we need to fill out emails, phone numbers, addresses, id numbers etc when all of that information has already been collected during the online reservation?). The decoration of the hotel is very nice and classy, with industrial vintage touches.
We decided to pay 24€ for the breakfast because we heard it was amazing but we were disappointed. A very nice breakfast hostess presented a scrumptious array of pastries to us, but those were charged extra, we could order eggs but bacon was also charged extra (really??), you can have only one coffee per person from the espresso machine (but the nice hostess made an exception and gave me 2), the orange juice isn’t freshly squeezed (it’s the bottled kind), the bread was stale and the overall choice is quite limited. Very disappointing for that amount of money.

Amazing hotel, great location within walking distance to many places & metro access is super good as well. Sauna, café bar, yoga lessons...super friendly and kind staff... I loved everything about this hotel.

The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the main areas, Close to Metro. Area is safe to walk and the view of the park was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were helpful and willing to answer questions, provide recommendations etc. I liked that the property was small, not a huge chain hotel. They even provide a today mat in the room. I had a room with a Mountain View, worth the extra cost.

The staff were super and the hotel has a positive vib to it. The location has its pro and cons but I think its convenient to the tapas places and inside the city, also the breakfast was good.
The internet does not work well inside the pool facing rooms and one need to go out and stand below the WIFI booster for large document transfers, which is annoying when your on a business trip. Also the room size was small on the occasions because the best rooms get taken, however at the price point (sub 200 Euros), there are possibly no rooms available around this location in Barcelona.

This place was amazing! Location was excellent - close proximity to metro and many good cafes, bars, restaurants. The staff were amazing! So friendly and attentive. The onsite breakfast and coffee was wonderful, the room was spacious, and the overall vibe was great. As a solo female traveler, and non-Spanish speaking, I felt very safe at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Pool and terrace was pretty. I would rebook here without hesitation!!
I wish there was a way to keep the AC on in your room while you’re out, but i understand that it’s better for the environment so that’s the trade off!
