The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the main areas, Close to Metro. Area is safe to walk and the view of the park was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were helpful and willing to answer questions, provide recommendations etc. I liked that the property was small, not a huge chain hotel. They even provide a today mat in the room. I had a room with a Mountain View, worth the extra cost.

The staff were super and the hotel has a positive vib to it. The location has its pro and cons but I think its convenient to the tapas places and inside the city, also the breakfast was good.
The internet does not work well inside the pool facing rooms and one need to go out and stand below the WIFI booster for large document transfers, which is annoying when your on a business trip. Also the room size was small on the occasions because the best rooms get taken, however at the price point (sub 200 Euros), there are possibly no rooms available around this location in Barcelona.

This place was amazing! Location was excellent - close proximity to metro and many good cafes, bars, restaurants. The staff were amazing! So friendly and attentive. The onsite breakfast and coffee was wonderful, the room was spacious, and the overall vibe was great. As a solo female traveler, and non-Spanish speaking, I felt very safe at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Pool and terrace was pretty. I would rebook here without hesitation!!
I wish there was a way to keep the AC on in your room while you’re out, but i understand that it’s better for the environment so that’s the trade off!

Our room was large and full of light. The hotel is small and intimate with delicious home baked goods in the lobby. Staff was super friendly. Every suggestion they made for restaurants was excellent. The location was quiet and off the tourist track but close enough to the metro to get anywhere.

The hotel style and design was just what we like: modern, stylish, intimate and simple. The staff was helpful and genuinely nice and attentive. There was daily recommendations in the elevator about places to eat or shop. I bought amazing designer sunglasses at Wilde that they had recommended. The location next to a park and Montjuic with the subway in walking distance as well several restaurants close by is very convenient. The breakfast was a buffet or a la carte with healthy choices. I requested omelettes made in front of me. The coffee and special teas was made by the staff at your request. I enjoyed delicious cappuccinos.
On the terrasse I relaxed in the afternoon on lounge chairs surrounded by flowers and plants. I was happily surprised about the sauna. A great relaxing stay for a conference and some family time.
The pool is small just big enough to dip but enjoyable to refresh from the heat.

I agree with the majority of reviewers who really liked this hotel. I found it very comfortable with high quality amenities. The coffee and pastries were fabulous. All of the staff -- both at the front desk and the restaurant were patient and kind. I especially want to thank Maria at the front desk for providing wonderful recommendations and good conversation to my wife and me.
The hotel is located in the Poble Sec neighborhood. This is not central Barcelona and we appreciated the fact that it wasn't. The neighborhood is far less tourist-focused than lots of Barcelona. We discovered some excellent restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. It is also easy to go to Montjuic to walk around, go to the museums, cable car, etc.

Fantastic location near Montjuic with lots of running and walking trails nearby, great neighborhood locations and lots of help from the fabulous staff in deciding where to go and what to do. Gorgeous walks into the more touristy parts of town. The rooms were spacious and really well designed. I loved that they had a sauna. Breakfast was able to easily cater to gluten free travelers.
The only small recommendation I would make is that some sort of small shelf in the shower would be lovely so that you didn’t have to set your toiletries on the floor.
