We were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful.
Barcelona is very hot this time of year and the AC did not adequately cool the room. It was a little difficult to sleep.

The bed was very comfortable. The hotel even supplied us a baby bath as well as a cot which made bathing our little one so much easier. The location is relatively close to the sights. The beach/ port was about a 30 min walk.
None of our coffee was replenished for the whole stay. The hallways were quite grubby and smelt of cigarettes and weed. Our room was also not very soundproof so we woke early most days to people leaving or coming back to the hotel in the early hours of the morning.

Travelled for work and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was extremely convenient. I mainly used Uber for my meetings, but the metro station is literally right outside the hotel, which made getting around the city very easy. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. I stayed for a few nights and kindly requested a room change to an interior-facing room to avoid street noise. The hotel accommodated my request without any issue, and the new room met all my expectations — it even had a private terrace, which was a lovely bonus.
The street-facing room on my first night was a little noisy due to traffic, but the hotel was very accommodating when I requested a quieter room.
